Do you think it's true you can drown with a teaspoon of water?

Sounds kinda silly but I remember hearing it when I was younger. I was wondering if you thought it was true or not.

I guess in a way it could be true. I don't think it's literally true, but I do think that it would be possible to choke on a teaspoon of water. If that happened, maybe some could call that 'drowning' even though it really wouldn't be. And the chances of somebody doing that seem PRETTY SLIM so maybe not. LOL. Quite a dilema, once you get the answer maybe we can tackle that whole 'what came first the chicken or the egg' problem!!!

lol...it's probably not lterally true..or may be a one in a million person did choke on that teaspoon of water thus starting the saying..lol..we'll get into the chicken and egg thing later...thx for the response.

i think it's ture.you know that means you use teaspoon to get water somewhere,day after day,there are more and more water.so you can drown.

hmmm...good point..maybe that's what the saying means.Thanks for your thoughts.Maybe the saying I always heard is not meant to be literal.
