God Has Answered My Prayer!!

I can't believe it!! I've been soooooo depressed and scared the past few days that I didn't know what or how I was going to do it but God showed me a way!! You see, my parents had to kick my nephew out of their house to be able to sell it because he would not keep it clean or do anything else that they asked him to and he had cats that’d pee where ever when ever they pleased. Hubby and I drove up to the house which is a four hour drive and stayed there for 5 days cleaning and painting the place, readying it to sell. Gosh what a mess!! My nephew really did a job on the place but we worked very hard and got it looking really nice once again. Now the problem is, their house payment is due on the 17th I believe and the amount is $1275.28. They only had $300. towards it and didn't know where they were going to get the rest of it. I called the church in the area that they used to live and they're able to donate $100 to $200. towards the payment. Someone had donated another $200. so that left $575.28 still to go. I called another church, the one across the street from me and they're able to donate $75. towards it so we still have another $500.28 to go. Now the whole time I knew of someone that could help and would in a heart beat if I could only get a hold of him. He had helped my parents before with a hospital bill and didn't want anything back but when mom and dad leave this world, he's going to get his money back. He gave $1,000. about 2 years ago. Guess what happened!!!!! He called me out of the blue last night!! Now how did he get my phone number????? I was too shocked to ask but was sooooo unbelievably happy to hear his voice!!!! He asked how things were and I told him the truth of it all and he said he knows how to get the money and he'll make sure they have it!!!!!!! I couldn't thank him enough!!!!! There aren't words to describe my relief!!!! I will be sure that he gets his money back as well for that's what mom and dad would want done when they leave this world and by God I will be sure that it's done!!!! Gosh, I've been crying and praying and crying and praying about this and that's why I haven't been on here much these past few days. I've been so depressed and scared for my parents all the while angry as hell at my low life common brothers for the trips that they're taking and bragging about all the while knowing full and well that mom and dad are panicking over the house payment! How cruel can one be?!! Oh forget them!! Mom and dad will have their house payment for this month!!!!!!! Yippeeeeee!! God has answered my prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you ever had a miracle happen?! I have!!! Several times!!!! Thank you God!!!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Cats ,that is GREAT and I know a great relief for you! Being right here at the holidays too, I know how down you can get. Are they having to sell because of the payments? Is it possible they could refinance or have they made the choice to move? Maybe your nephew will be more aware of what it takes to clean it up and won't let that happen again- let hope anyhow. Yes, several times I have had miracles happen. I believe all things happen for a reason! Like the phone call when you were just thinking of calling this guy. Be sure and thank the Lord and the guy for coming to your aid!

Yes it is a miracle and I'm sooooo blessed!! So are my parents!! I have no idea how he got my phone number other than it was God sent!! I know now they'll be alright with this month and we can all have a nice Christmas without having that stress hanging over us. There's no need for gifts when we have each other and no worries for the moment. Whew!! Now I'm praying that the house sells real soon!!

Good for you!!! I am so glad that something positive has happened. Next question? If the house brings no offers, will they rent it again? It sounds like they may have to. If they do, maybe they can really look for an older couple that will take good care of it. They will have to do something. I may have missed it, but did you find something else out on your dad?

Don't you just love when things fall into place like that? I call them "Godincidence" (instead of coincidence) I have one particular friend who has many and continuous trials - where this sort of thing (Godincidences) happen with timely frequency. I just love that sort of thing!

God has answered many prayers for me thruout my life. But the biggest prayer is still asleep curled up in my bed, having dreams of her 5th birthday slumber party tonight. As a woman who suffers from Endometriosis along with 8 miscarriages and 1 ectopic, all hope was lost when I turned 35 and my chances of carrying a child to term was dropped to 30%. But at age 35 yrs 7 months, the doctor said congratulations and the ultrasound showed me my precious miracle. Finally at age 36yrs and 3 months, my biggest prayer of all time was answered with the safe arrival of my baby girl weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 14 ozs: even as a single Mom never does a day go by that I do not look at my daughter and thank God for her. Everything about her amazes me and fills me to overflow with love & pride. My new prayer is that my Dad who is suffering from cancer thruout his body stays healthy and we can have many years with him yet. Happy Holidays! Deborah & Serenity

That is wonderful news hon!! I'm so happy for you and your parents. God is definitely keeping His eye on you. God has always helped me in times of need, especially when it comes to the household bills. There have been too many times to recount here that my prayers were answered in the way I hoped they would be. Big hugs to you hon.

prayers are effective for s ure. and it is inspiring stories like this one. it keep s our faith strong. and makes us believe that in ourtrouble that we shoudl not think that we are alone. there is still Someone up there to save or help us in our financial problems or other problems. for me in a way i have experienced some kind of blessing too in my life. though not that big amount that you have received. I just pray that i will not be in need and that i will just have enough for every day thinsg that i need in life like the basic things like food and shelter.

Oh Cats, I am so happy for you and your parents. Thats a relief, at least for this month. Thats a hefty house payment, can the bank lower it or help in some way? I hope it sells quickly for all of you. God does answer our prayers, he knows what we need, All we really need to do is have faith. I know its tough not to worry about things. I have had many miracles in my life, and continue to have them all the time. Take care Cats.

How sad that you've been using this site as a means to vent your frustration at your brothers. That's all well and good but I don't think we all need to hear how YOU have been feeling about everything. From what I have seen, correct me if I'm wrong, all you have done is belittle your brothers who may be perfectly innocent. I and all the rest of the Mylot users only have your word for what is going on. You asked for advice a couple of days ago and, from what I have seen, were given plenty of sensible, solid advice. You weren't interested in the advice. In fact, I would hazard a guess you didn't even read any of the responses. Perhaps it is just as well your brothers aren't involved you would drive me absolutely insane. I probably would've kicked your hiney a long time ago.

You know what? You're new to mylot so I won't try to rip you apart. Let me just tell you this. Before you come on here and pass judgement, learn a few things first then say what you want to say. Until then, it's best to keep quiet. I won't even try to explain to you about my brothers and our situation because you're so ready to cut me down before knowing my situation or giving me a chance to explain. So therefore, as you can see, I'm NOT new to mylot and have made some really cool friends here and when we have problems, we're able to talk them out on here and get advice too. It's even a place where our friends hold each other up or root each other on. I'm sharing my feelings and problems with MY friends who KNOW what's been going on the whole time and they're supporting and rooting me on!! That doesn't mean that I follow every advice they give but it helps me to clear my head or get ideas. That's what this site is about, FRIENDS and you're not going to make any with an attitude such as yours. By the way. Welcome to mylot!! Hope you enjoy your time here!

I knew you would respond quickly. I mean, who wouldn't. Obviously you didn't like my comment. Which was all it was, a comment. Not a judgement. Only God can judge. I am not on here to find friends (if I do, all well and good) but I think you've done the brother thing to bits. Seems to me that you are very manipulative and are very good at passing judgement (especially on your brothers). You may have been on Mylot a long time but I have been around a long time and do know people. I happily give my advice to people because I have had experiences you wouldn't believe. I am happy if you have some help for your parents but do you really think you should berate your brothers for their lack of empathy? And that is all it is. Men are like that and you should get over it and do the best you can. That's all that counts isn't it?

I couldn't agree with you more. I moved up country to look after my mother but I wouldn't tell everyone in the world how much it costs. If she wants genuine advice then she'll get it. I can't see how we can help her though when all she wants to do is trash her brothers. I don't want to hear that they're a-holes. Maybe they are but do we really need to read it? There is a solution. You know that as well as I do we just have to get a proper handle on it. We are not being told the whole story. There is more to it than what has been said. I've simply been reading between the lines.

He might not come when you want Him to but he is always right on time. Truly a work of God. I am so happy to hear this and I know you are very appreciative of this good man. It really took a load off you and your husband's mind. You can now have a Merry Christmas without that worry and so can your mom and dad. Merry Christmas.

That's awesome, CatsandDogs. You know that each time you talked about this here, and each time you talked with local people to help, you gave us all the opportunity to pray for you as well. I'm sure that all those prayers are what helped that man know to call.

I started crying a few lines before you said you had been crying. I am so glad that your parents will be able to make the house payment, and you are truly a great daughter to be doing this for them. I am happy your prayers have been answered.

Nice to hear the way God has showered his grace on you. I too had many miracles like this. Many times. Many are most memorable.I always had the dream to complete engineering. but after I finished my diploma, my dad being an ordinary teacher could not afford for my engineering fee. So i had to do small work to save money. But that was not sufficient enough to pay my engineering fee, then at the same time my uncle came and he offered me a gift which is double the amount of my engineering fee on my birthday. I was so happy and really thanked God for that. In the same way, my fee for engineering every year came as a gift for me where my dad need not return again. There are many other instances too where miracles like this happend and God has saved me in many occasions. I am so much thankful to God and much much indebted to him in every way. What ever I give him never lasts and what he gives me never losts.

May I join you in saying. "Thank You Lord for what you've done in the lives of these people." I am so happy your prayers were answered and in answer to your question, OH YES I have had answered pray more than once and I think we all need to be careful or what we pray for. When you pray make it genuine. Your brothers indeed should be very ashamed of themseves and I have no doubt in my mind that what goes around comes around and there will be a judgement day!!! God bless your heart and also your hubby for all you have done for your folks, and you will be rewarded richly for honoring your parents!!! Best wishes hon.
