Do you wear them? They've been in style now for a couple years and I sew my pants straight now. Well the old pants that are flared at the bottom I've sown straight or skinny. Have you sewn your pants straight like this? And if you did.. Did you do it by hand or with a sewing machine? I'm curious to know!

I had sewing classes when I was younger. I guess sewing isn't my thing. As a hobby I don't see myself sitting behind a sewing machine and enjoying it. I have replaced a button that came loose on a shirt, and I hand stiched my pillows seams that came apart. This pillow was a favorite, had to do it. You probably could open up a alteration shop or make your own clothes. Depends on how much passion you have for sewing. If my pants don't fit right I take them to a professional or buy new ones. I bet you save money by altering your clothes.

yes i wear both stright and skinny leg pants i also like the ones that flair out at the bottom and that are boot cut too i only wear the skinny leg pants when i am wearing some kind of boot where i tuck my pants legs down into the boot tucking skinny leg pants down into a boot is alot easier than tucking straight leg or the pants that flair out at the bottom down into a boot i do not make my own pants although it is something that i would like to eventually try to do i just do not have the time right now and i do not currently have a sewing machine so it would take forever for me to hand stitch

I havent't done anything like that since bad things tend to happen whenever I pick up a needle...;) Lol,that's not what you thought,I'm just not that creative whether it's hand stitching or sewing machine. And I'll tell a sad story behind it-somebody gave me a sewing machine when I was about 8 years old. I yearned to use it but my mom would always say" No,let's wait till you turn 10" and that went on forever. Well,by the time I turned 10 the machine mysteriously disappeared and I wasn't interested anyway. One of the things I can do now is to sew a new button, and that takes work!:) As to jeans,I only wear flared ones. They look better on me and I'm not a fashionista.

I am also one of those fashion duds who just can't wear trendy things like skinny leg pants. Plus, I have rather large feet and tapered legs just make them stand out even more; I have to stick to flared, boot cut or wide leg jeans and pants. I have to applaud you for turning your old flares into skinnies though. That's an awesome idea!
