Which would you put on top of a christmas tree, a star or an angel?

Setting up your Christmas trees at home always brings happiness to the family. If it were up to you, which do you think would have a "happier" effect, an angel or the traditional star on top of the tree?

We always put an angel on top of the tree. It is just more appropriate for our style of tree. I think that either is okay. Both represent the religious aspect of Christmas. The angel for the angel that came to announce Jesus' birth and the star for the star that shone bright in the sky to guide the shepherds to where Jesus was born. I think it is just a personal preferance as to which someone puts on their tree. Merry Christmas.

I guess you're right. It all just boils down to personal preferance. I just hope my mother would switch to using other ornaments once in a while. :-) Thanks for posting a response. And a Merry Christmas to you as well.

Do you know, I'm really not sure... I suppose a sparkling star would brighten things up but I'd probably put a few little Christmas angels around somewhere aswell. We usually have a rustic Santa at the top of ours. Have a great Christmas whichever you choose

if it were up to me, i'd use both. probably an angel holding a star. hehehe but my mother being in charge of the decorations always uses a star. but anything would do actually, what's important is that the family is all together celebrating this season. thanks for taking time to reply. happy holidays!

I actually i am not very much sure to choose from this two. But i think star and angle come together. Where there is star definitely there 'll be angels too.
