Does licking the Oreo's cream affect it's taste?

Ewww...pre-moistened cookies. My own personal ritual---I take the cookies apart. I dip the cookie part in mil and eat it. then I eat the cream middles last while I drink the milk. I take my cookie eating pretty seriously. I try not to do this around other people because I hate unsolicited advice.

hmmmm interesting I never even thought about that never tried it. I wouldn't think it would taste any different but to some it may. I have oreo's have I just eat them whole I don't lick out the filling first something for someone to test out and reveal lol.

Ummm...well, of course not. I think it is more of a ritual. Myself I just eat them as is. Sometimes I dunk them and sometimes I don't. But usually I buy the double stuff kind and then that way I get all the yummy cream inside with every bite. I love Oreos! Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I don't think licking the oreo filling changes the taste one bit. It is probably just a ritual. Actually I think it is just a commercial to try to sell more cookies. It got your attention didn't it?

I don't think it would, but who really knows? I don't like chocolate so I would not even begin to know what an Oreo cookie tastes like in the first place. I would rather just go with the glass of milk and skip the cookies. Happy mylotting...

I do not think that it affects the taste at all. Some people just do theirs like that and I do not know why. My daughter just eats the center and do not even eat the cookie so she will have a whole bunch cookies with no center.

I've seen a similar commercial with a grandma and a girl. I like oreos but i think licking the cream of it before dipping them in milk is just gross. I can't stand the commercial everytime i see it. I think it does change the taste but i wouldn't think it's tastier.
