Decreasing mylot earnings? What is the cause of that?

Few days ago or so, I have read a discussion where mylot member/s is complaining why his/her earnings has been decreased. I did not actually worry much about that discussion then because I have not encountered or experienced said instance of decreased earnings. Not until now.....Yes, my earnings was decreased . I was surprised. It may be just a few cents, yet it affects me much. What do you think was the cause of such DECREASING?
Did it cross to your mind that mylot may had a mistake with your "yesterdays's" earnings? If that was the case, then perhaps, mylot should have been careful in giving a certain payment than just decrease it or take a few cents without even notifying the member for said decrease.
If this situation will usually be encountered by many mylotters, it will discourage them and make them lost interests and trust to mylot.

I have experienced that too. My earnings decreased to as much as 12 cents. That's too much considering i make 12 cents on a very lady day. At first i want to get mad but who am i to blame? I checked the number of my responded discussions and it didn't decrease so there has to be a glitch or something. I've had worst. There was a time when my earnings didn't refresh at all so i got no earning for that day. I guess we just have to be more patient. It happens to some of us so i guess we should just call it a day.

Whew! I experienced the same...No update of earnings? ..I have checked my deailed earnings, and i already figured it out which earning day had decreased. Truly, I do not know who has to blame for such. But, mylot has control of it, right? Am still unconvinced that I had violated any rule, that is why there was a decrease of earnings. Do you think, that is the cause of such decrease?

It could be a glitch. But for the sake of conversation, it's possible that myLot is also testing your patience. The more you'll be discouraged, the more cents they will gain from your lack of participation right? So just continue with your usual routine. If you posts like 20 responses a day, just do so. Just don't overdo it because overdoing it and expecting much might just might blow your top off if you got less earnings. Just be consistent and pretend nothing happened.

the discussions which violate mylot rules and guidelines are deleted by mylot. check their guidelines and terms and conditions. so, all the people who have responded to that discussion and who started that discussion will see a cut in their earnings. this happened to me last month.

What do you mean by "deleting discussions that violate mylot rules and guidelines?" As far as I can remember, I had no discussion which has been deleted by mylot. I do not recall either that I had violated any rules or guidelines. If that ha been the case, mylot has to notify those people who are violating their rules or guidelines. If in case I violated any, i should have been notified for such violation. That is part of our rights? It is not enough that our earnings has to be decreased without such notice or warning. It will lead to discouragement on my part and to other mylotters who have experienced the same....

I have had it happen to me and I am sure lots of other members have as well. As long as they do not take more than a few cents I really don't worry about it. It is usually caused by MyLot deleting discussions. If your reply or discussion is deleted then why should you be paid for it?

My earnings yesterday decreased too. When I checked it just now, my earning decreased by 1 cent. Its pretty compare to the decrease in other people's earnings. I do hope they make sure that they are giving away the right amount before they give it to us.

Good for you it was just a cent. Mine is 4 cents. 
...I only noticed that a few minutes back. When I started making discussions and responding to discussions, my earnings was $9.05, yet after 2 hours or so, it became $9.01....Well, like what I mentioned and you mentioned it too, this should be something that mylot has to resolve. Hence, mylot has to give us the real "earnings" and not decrease it later.There will be a negative impact if that issue will keep on happening to us, right? Thank you for responding and sharing your experience.
