Do you hang out in country bars? My husband and I enjoy country dancing but have noticed lately that the country bars have been taken over by the teenage crowd and their ridiculous hoochy clothes and crazy swing dances. We're a younger couple, but enjoy the old-time country steps and laid-back atmosphere. Where are adults around the age of 30 supposed to go now to have a good time?

Most places have been taken over by the younger crowd. Creating drama and unnecessary situations. Find a bar that has a 30 -50 age limit! good luck hun!

My wife and I prefer to go out in the middle of the week so that we avoid the younger generation at the pub.

My fiance and I haven't yet gone to the country bar in our area, but he has been there. I'm not sure about this one, but I don't think it's been over run with teenagers and crazy dances / hoochy clothes. Not sure where to reccommend ya!

I can't help you there. (I know the feeling) and although some may not like this when I lived in San Francisco at a lot of the street fairs there were gay cowboy dancing groups and did they know the steps and it was beautiful to watch. (I hate to say this but kind of like Urban Cowboy) I'm not a huge country fan but love the dancing. Regards
