I just hate to wake up early!!

Having to wake up early is one of the things I don't like at all.But I just can't help myself as I have to attend classes every morning and I just don't like to bunk classes at all.So,I have struck a deal with myself that I will attend classes on all the days except saturday.What you feel about waking up early just let me know!!Do you think what I am doing is not right,please feel free to tell me....

I hate waking early if the weather is cold and I am still sleepy. I like the idea of sleeping until I want but then I have to submit myself with my baby's sleeping schedule. He is now six months old and he wakes up at around 7am where I am still sleepy. When I was still in college, I have a morning class schedule and so I was used to waking up early. I think we just have to adjust. We may not be able to wake up early everyday but keeping that in mind may help our body clock adjust and help us have a mind set of what we need to do and what we have to sacrifice.

I don't like to have to wake up early either. Though, at times, I have too, because of an early class, which obligates me to get up early. But the fact still remains that I don't like waking up early. I'm not that type of person.

School is very important so it okay to wake up early. I do it all the time, but my classes end about midday so i come home and take a nap or something before venturing off in the wonderful land of hw. You are doing a good think by educating yourself but its hard to wake up in the a.m. but we have to do it.

Hey dev, well waking up early has been instilled in me since I was a child and so it has come naturally but I remember when I was attending college and our maths lecturer noticed that alot of us were having problems with this subject and so he implemented a plan that in the wee hours we come out and have class. You always find the ones like you dropping along the way until one comes and push them to class lol. It was fun those mornings because I actually learn to understand maths in those early morning classes. What I think you are doing wrong is putting a negative before this event so my advice to you is to put aside the negatives and embrace these early morning classes you will see that you will eventually love them but you have to put aside the negatives. Remember you learn more when there is no cobwebs in the brain.

I appreciate this habit of yours really. I am trying really hard to inculcate this habit into my routine but till now I have failed. But, I will keep on trying that's for sure. As you said in the morning hours, we do well in our studies. It has some scientific reasons too, most probably a hormone called ACTH that has some beneficial effects that lets us grasp the subjects better. Also, our brain is fresh from the rest it got during the sleeping hours. I am really motivated after reading your response, thank you.

Be it classes or anything, i just cant make it out of my bed before 9. I just like sleeping till late in the day. Only if its a train that i would fear missing or any outing with friends, that would drag me out of my bed. N yeah in schooldays i used to get up early as we had morning school. But now its once in a blue moon or so.

Instead of suggesting you a helping hand,i am here to share the same problem as you are having. I am also a late riser & this habit of mine makes me miss a bunch of important lectures in my college. I habitually sleep late in the night, so the waking hours extend for me for up to 9 am or so.I have tried sleeping early,but either i can't sleep or i get up at the usual time. I guess an alarm clock would recondition the sleeping clock in the brain...what say??

Idea of using the alarm clock has failed for me for sure as I don't wake up even if I use an alarm as each time I just stop the alarm when it beeps. I have figured it out that alarm clock is not the solution for me. I lack motivation to wake up early and what I need is firm determination. i would surely going to implement this into my routine or else my exams are surely going for a toss. Anyways friend, thanks for your response.

I don't like to get up early only when there is no enough sleep. I mean, i really feel terrible in the morning if i have to get out of the bed when I'm not ready yet. But if there is good enough sleep for me I would like to get up early. I can enjoy the fresh air,quiet moment in the morning. It is a great moment in the early morning.

One needs to sleep for at least 6 hours a day, but ideally it should be 8 hours. The time we get up depends upon when we go to bed. If you go early you rise early and if you go to bed late, you don't like to get up early as our body has not received enough time to rest. Also, during the winter months, the environment is very conducive to remain in bed. I have got my sleep cycle disturbed right now as I am going to bed late. I would be trying to reverse the trend and wake up early, so that I get some fresh early morning air. Thanks for your response and inspiration my friend.

every one should do something which we don't want to do.but we have to.that's unchangeable. when we are young,we have to get uo early to go to school.after several years,we have to get up to work.except some special days. enjoy yourself even get up .haha
