Where's Your Happy place?

When you escape to that happy place in your mind, what to you envision? My happy place is the center of a rain forest. There's a waterfall, a rainbow, and loads of friendly animals who have all become my "pets". The weather is comfortable, not hot and humid as a rain forest would be. I spend my time there petting the animals... usually the white tiger! What's in your happy place?

My happy place is in a beautiful area like the Black Hills of South Dakota, especially such areas as Custer State Park and the areas surrounding many of the caves. It would be the happiest if I had certain friends with me at the time.

I'm not very good at visualizing things in my mind. I do try but it does not come easy to me. Instead, when upset or feeling frustrated I walk to th sea - about three minutes walk outside of my office. I watch the sea in all its beauty and say a little prayer and somehow feel happy and recognise that was is upsetting me is just small stuff. Thishelps me in so mnay ways. I like times of solitude when I can'be still'. Blessings

My place is always over the sea shore. I can walk my dogs and play on the beach... swimming with dolphins would be ideal...

Most of the time I go to where I have been before in life. Where I felt at peace, usually quite places. I find that where I go depends on what I am escaping from at the time. I rarely go to the same place twice. Although, one place comes to mind, a cemetery below Punch Bowl in Honolulu. I lived near there just below starting college and wanted to go outside to read a book. Not knowing the area, I set out to look for a park but only found this old cemetery. There was a rock outcropping with a tree nearby. I sat on the outcropping and started to read my book. What I remember about that experience was how beautiful and serene it what. Blue sky day, few clouds and light tradewinds. For a cemetery it was full of life. Birds singing and flying about. I do not remember the book I read but I remember that place. I have there a few times.
