I have little power so use my glasses while reading or sitting in front of my laptop all the time. I also have the habit of reading at least for 15 minutes before I get good sleep. Yesterday night it so happened that I was very tired and slept while reading with my glasses on my nose. Have you ever met with similar situation? To think of it is funny and my 3 year old son found it very funny and he called my family members and showed me laughing all the time. I woke up and we all had a hearty laugh. Ha Ha Ha.

I do that all the time. I always fall asleep while on my computer or watching TV. My husband sometimes watches me and laughs when I finally wake up, but other times he's nice and takes my glasses off and puts my laptop away for me. It's also pretty funny when he falls asleep at the computer because he starts typing the same letter over and over again. I always make fun of him. A couple of times he fell asleep while typing a document or email. I quietly went to his keyboard and typed "nnnnnnfffffffjjjjjjjjjddddd" or something like that. It was so funny!

I know, these are some of the memorable moments we experience with our spouse and kids. We recollect such instances and have a good laugh later too. My 3 year old son whenever gets hold of my laptop he will type ooooooooooooooooo. I have seen him doing this at least 10 times. Maybe the letter 'O' is immediately visible to a 3 year old kid.

this absolutely happens to me. also, i end up falling asleep not only with my glasses on but with the lamp light on, a total waste. my glasses get bent and my mothers energy bill gets higher. I do my best to catch myself when I'm getting too tired to read on but sometimes a book is just too good to put away.

Well I do not read lengthy books before my sleep because I will fall asleep within 10-15 minutes. So I read short stories or magazines. I too have forgotten to put off the light quite a few times. thanx for your response. keep writing.

It is good to avoid reading in a sleeping posture. If you want to read before sleep, select a comfortable chair and sit erect reading your interested one. That way your eyes will not get harmed.I go with your kid enjoying you sleeping with glasses on,but please try to avoid such situations.Cheers!

I will not say exactly I be in sleeping posture while reading before sleep because I keep three big pillows below my head and back. I read in this posture while reading before sleeping only. But one should avoid such situation especially with a 3 year old naughty kid.

I sleep with my glasses while reading all the time. It is one of the reasons why my glasses are always bent and I have semi-permanent dent in my nose. ;)

All the time. When I was a little girl I would fall asleep reading all the time .My mom took a picture one time because the book was on my face.lol.Now I fall asleep with my glsses on too.I already had to replace them once because I broke them by sleeping on them and also because my son was playing with them.
