Do you know what you live your life for?

Does anyone really know the real reason? Of course there are things we cherish in life and live for, such as family, friends, etc. But does anyone believe that we are placed on this earth for more "hidden" reasons? Something that isn't more obvious? I believe that everyone is placed on earth for a reason, everyone is here to serve a purpose, and everything happens for a reason. The people we meet, the places we go. Even the smallest of events...you're running late for work - don't be mad, because it was meant to happen. Maybe because you ran late for work you avoided being involved in a car accident. Does anyone believe this is really how life works? Life is so mysterious, I think it could be true. Maybe I believe this because I have witnessed it...? My sister died unexpectedly at the age of 22 in a car accident. Who can explain something like that? Why her? Why at such a young age? Most people are just starting their lives at the age of 22, while little did we know, hers was ending. I was only 17 at the time so I didn't even know how to begin to analyze what had happened. But now, 6 years later, I'm wondering if my accusations are correct. Had she really served her purpose here on earth, and was God ready to move her on to bigger and better things? Very possible. So what are you living your life for? Do you feel like you are in fact living your life...doing what you want to do, living your dream? Do you have any regrets? Who's to say that my purpose on earth isn't about to be served, and I will soon leave this earth as well? I encourage everyone to start living their dreams, reaching for their goals, and have no regrets. Be happy, laugh as much as you can, call up an old friend that you can't even remember the last time you spoke with, be spontanious! What are your thoughts on all this...?

I believe that God keeps us on Earth until we our purpose is served here, then, he takes us Home to Him. For some, their purpose is served at birth, therefore, they die then, for others, it takes 90 years or more. Whatever the case, we have a purpose and something we must do before we go Home.

I have a friend who also lost her sister in a car accident. Her family was taking a vacation, but her sister insisted that she didn't go, but to go with her friends to Minnesota instead (it was the only time she could go). She went, the girls got into an accident and everyone survived but her. She was even wearring her seat belt! Dr.s say that is what could have killed her. She was a very small girl, vey thin and they say the seat belt squished her insides. But come on, the only one to die and yes she was only 20 (I think, or around that age). But like you said, why so young why did everyone else survive? I also believe we are all here for a reason and that her reason was over, she had accomplished her duties.

hi, tklich! i think every one of us live on the earth for a reason. we all come here because of God, and also we ends the journey here because of God..so that's the destined..thins have fate that we cannot change..life is too short to live and we can't take things for granted..people go to work and don't come back. one minute they are living and next minute they are not..and it doesn't matter who u are ,there is nothing u can do about it. we never know when our lives will be over, so we need to make the most of every minute we have. u try to learn from what happened. u can't be answered by it..all u can do is just live...

im not gonna even try to act like i know but i can tell you--and i hope this doesnt come off conceited--but I feel like Ive helped alot of people in my life feel important. I grew up a pretty tough childhood and I feel like because of what ive experienced its made me so much more aware of how people are feeling. I go out of my way to make the oddball in the room feel important. This description does nothing to really illustrate it well, frankly, im confused by it. I mean while others seem to hop into this life being successful and having successful careers that isnt me and at the same time I cannot dismiss that I have done anything less than them. Yea, it makes me wonder alot 'is that what im supposed to be doing' because there just such pressure from a societal perspective to BE this or BE LIKE this, it gets rather confusing.

Hi There! Yes, I know why I am here in the world. I have family that I love so much. I have a close family ties especially with my siblings, I love them with all my heart. We go through the tough times especially financially with their studies… but we still get through it… I am here to live because of them, help them to finish their education or achieve their dreams… takes care of our parents… as well… especially mother who is very supportive to her kids. I have friends too. They are important to me. They are like part of my life, part of my existence in this world. Without them, I think I will not be able to really get to know myself more. They love me as much as I love them… I have my man/boyfriend that I love so much. He is not just a boyfriend; he is my best friend as well… I couldn’t live without him, I guess… He is the one who gives me the power or strength to move on with my life… other than my family and friends. I can’t imagine life without him since we’ve met and fell in love. And there is God… who I know is there to guide me… ohh.. lastly… there is ME… I live for myself too…? I have my dreams in life which I am determine to pursue… so there… those are the few reasons why I am still here right now… and there could be a lot of reasons but those reasons are enough for me to know that there is more to life and to enjoy every moment of it no matter how it hurts sometimes… Happy Mylotting and Happy Mylotting! Cheers!

The life I have here on earth is but a temporary life. This will end as the Lord God calls me home. Ever since I've accepted Jesus in my life, everything about my misconception about life have been erased. Now I know that I have only one reason why I have to live this life. My only purpose why I am living this temporal life is to prepare for an everlasting life that awaits me far and beyond. An eternal that I will spend with Jesus my Lord there in heaven together with the angels and with the other believers. For this reason, I live my life in accordance with the will of God. I would not say that I am living in sinless perfection because I am human and could not be perfect. But I am doing everything to walk in accordance with the wisdom that God himself through His word has bestowed upon me. I have a wonderful family, I have a good job, I have good friends and I thank God for all of them. However in this life there could never be without tribulations. Yes, I do have a share of trials and problems, I do cry and have sorrows at times, I have ups and downs but through them all, I am happy that I know that God is always with me. Whatever happens here and whatever I do here, I make it a point to remember that God allows them to mold me into a better person. My life here on earth may not be perfect...but I am happy that I have a blessed hope. This hope is the day of my reunion with my God and Savior when with Him I will be living a perfect life in heaven where a mansion, He himself has prepared for me.

I believe that most people will have some regrets in their life. We are not living in a perfect world so bad things are bound to happen. Ecclesiastes 9:11 says "Time and unforeseen occurrences befall us all." Sometimes, quite by chance we are in the wrong place at the wrong time. I do not believe that we are put on this earth to perform a specific task and that when we have done it we will die. We were given free will which means that ultimately the way we live our life depends on the choices we make.
