Here in the UK it is illegal to use a hand held mobile phone while driving. Drivers can use a hands free device though, like a bluetooth device.

Using a cell phone disturbes us a lot we should not use mobiles in cars. If we have bluetooth device we can because there is no distraction

well, here in the province of ontario (canada) they are making using cell phones while driving, illegal, but the only problem with a headset is the fact that people are still talking and not necessarily concentrating on what they are doing. driving needs FULL concentration!!

I agree with you there about that there's is a way they can use it without taking their mind of driving that's with a speaker which works like a radio.I know that they don't like them to drive with them in Ontario. cd

If the use of a cell phone while driving is absolutely necessary then a hands free device should be used. It's easy enough to get distracted while driving and talking on the phone only adds to the distraction. It wouldn't bother me if they banned all cell phone use while driving. I prefer not to talk to anyone when I'm in my car because I've always considered that to be my quiet time. Nothing drives me crazy faster than someone talking on the phone and not paying attention to what they're doing.
