Do you prefer sending virtual cards thru email or genuine cards thru snail mail?

Christmas is not complete unless we are able to greet our family and friends a Merry Christmas. A simple card would do, especially if they are in faraway places. Do you prefer sending them email virtual cards or genuine cards through the post office? I, for one, would prefer the real card sent through the snail mail, as I can hold it and keep it forever. It also shows how much the person who sent it cares for me by going through the tedious process of going out of his way to mail it.

It depends a lot on location. For my friends staying far away I opt for email, while those staying near - will get by snail mail. Obviously, I prefer to hand over the greetings direct to the recipient, wherever possible. There is nothing more satisfactory than to see a smiling face of someone you care.

I send real cards....since I design and make my own it's kind of fun to send them through the mail...and my younger sister says...it's so much fun to go to the mailbox and find something other then bills! Ecards are okay once in a while...but I also like getting the real thing.

Yes, that's true. It is still exciting to receive cards thru mail.

I like to send Christmas cards through snail mail. I also like to get them through snail mail. Like you I like to see and keep them forever. Its neat to see all the differant cards, and even some that are the same. What that persons style is in the cards they pick out is fun to see.
