I see the aspects of the world available to me through my eyes. What i experience is my world. When I die my world dies with me. My world revolves around me, because It does not exist without me. The world is the collective experiences of everyone's worlds interacting together.

You see whatever your experience and wish to believe is your 'world'. We people are generally self-centered and we confine and restrict our 'vision' to our 'immediate family' and relatives, we per se do not want to include others in our family, because we feel uncomfortable with 'unknown' people. We wish to be 'secure' mode. It is also true that whatever you have experienced so far or will experience in future, will remain with you only and it will vanish the moment you are no more in this world. Exchanging our experiences with others experience also enriches our thinking process and wisdom. Therefore, I always earnestly wish that I must share my good and bad experiences with others, specially my kids and younger generation, so that they could garner and gather some useful information/knowledge from me.

Heya Mable! When you put things the way you just have, I guess the world DOES revolve around each and every one of us on a number of levels. It does exist without us of course, but if we have no perception of it's existence because we are not living, then not only the world doesn't exist, nothing does! For once here I am getting confused myself for a change. Good job!

This is soooooo deep I will have to think hard about this one, but just of the top of my head. My world will die with me but the world will go on. My sons world will aways be here even a million years after he is gone as a parent I belive my son will live forever and with him so will I.

I like you thoughts on this. Everyone has his or her perspective on the world and indeed the world revolves each individual and infact it evolves too.

Actually, the world does not revolve around you. It is just the you make the world revolve around you.:) Seems so difficult to understand. Let me explain it to you. What you see it on your mind, the world or the universe will make it happen for you. But that does not mean that it will automatically happen. It will take time and process before it will happen to you. Just got this concept from the 'Law of Attraction'.:)

interesting spot, and yes it is true because you can only experience your own experiences not some one elses. Even when you doing something with some one your experience is your own, theirs is theirs,

Yes you are perfectly correct.... Our own self are the center of our own world or universe.... Our own self are the master of our own being.... And there is a being in our being greater than our own self greater than our own world and universe and the most higher master of our self.... The I Am that I Am the Almighty God..... Peace be with you riyasam.... ^_^

This reminds me of the expression "Perception is Reality", and everyone has their own. I most certainly do feel like I am in my own little world. I moved 950 miles away from the place I lived before. I didn't know anyone here, and I have only met 3 or 4 people since I have been here. No one else can imagine my reality, although what they perceive is going on, is what they believe to be true. Because we only see things through one set of eyes. Thanks for starting this interesting discussion, and have a great day!

riyasam, I like the way you think. I wrote a paper on this in college, and the professor acted as if I were Hannibal Lecter and he was delicious. Of course, for each of us, it's the same story. Yes, the world does revolve around me. And you. And her. And him. It's perfectly logical!

In a way this is true, but with the limitations of the human senses there is so much else out there that if we are not so self absorbed we can become part of. I really think once our body is gone the energy of us that is left becomes part of the whole.
