I really have a hard time finding time to scrapbook. Does anyone else here have that problem? How often do you scrapbook?

I have the time to scrapbook, I just don't have the space! I wish I could just lug my materials out and do some crafting, but then I have to clean it all up and put it away. I would scrap book more often if I had the space!!

i only work part time so i find time to scrapbook. i also cut stuff out and cut my papers while i am watching tv. i dont sit still very well in front of the tv and always like to be doing something during that time. so thats when i do stuff like that. i usually lay out my stuff and then go from there.

I agree that it's hard to find to scrapbook. I am lucky enough to have a place where I can start a project and leave it out so I can go back to it whenever I want. I scrapbook a couple times a month. I also join groups (like on www.meetup.com) that deal with scrapbooking/card making, and we "meet up" in person and scrapbook.

I have heard this from lots of people. When they see my scrapbook they always have a fit and then say I just don't have time to do stuff like that. Which some of them just say I am not that creative. Before I begin let me say that I have children. I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old. Both children think that scrapbooking is like the best thing ever. Scrapbooking is usually my time. I either scrapbook at two different times. I will wait until everyone is in the bed and then do it. Or I scrapbook with my children. They will both scrapbook while I do. I usually do not find time I just make time. Like most people like to watch TV but I would prefer to be scrapbooking. In December I scrapbooked every night for about 2 1/2 weeks because I made a scrapbook for my cousin for Christmas. She thought mine were pretty but did not "have time" to do one. And I knew that she would love it and her children could enjoy looking at it for years.

When I scrapbook, I like to be able to sit down and do my scrapbooking without any interruptions because when I am scrapbooking, I am focused and don't need distractions interrupting my creativity. So, I have a hard time finding the time to scrapbook...earlier this year I finished my Hawaii scrapbook which is great, but we were there 7 years ago. This year, four and half/five years later, I want to start and finish my Ireland scrapbook. I know that there are people who have scrapbooking weekends and get-togethers. Have you thought about doing that?

I use to scrap once a week. I was able to do that because I had the space to leave everything set up and out and so could just spend 1/2 hour or so and actually accomplish something. I don't have that luxury any more so I scrap maybe once every couple of months. One way you can make progress on your albums without spending a lot of time is by keeping your basic cropping tool available with a few photos you want to crop and take a few moments to crop them to the desired size, maybe use your corner rounder. A few times of doing this and you have photos ready to stick on a page. Hope this helps some. It's very frustrating wanting to spend time on scrapbooking and then not being able to find the time (or the space).

I always had this problem, to scrap back my friends and usually I scrap thrice a week and do not get time to check often. So I bought a iphone, which has helped me tackle this problem.
