had a national story touch you so much that you feel connected to it?? This whole Caylee Anthony case w/her mom Casey has just thrown me for a loop. I have sat down more than once to cry for this little girl. I don't usually get very invovled with national cases. I always feel bad when there is a child hurt, missing, or killed...but this case has just put me through the ringer. Maybe it's because I have a child the same age? I just can't believe that a mother could do that to their own. The children I have are actually "step" children but they seem so much like my own. And to have someone that actually got to carry their child for 9 months and have that bound....and then to just do what she did!?? I just can't get over it. What are your thoughts about this case? Have you ever had a national case hit your own heart this hard??

This story is just horrible. I can't believe anyone could do that to anyone let alone their own child. I too have children around the same age. They just identified that the body found was hers.

i think about what this person did to her child and i throw up a little bit in my mouth!!!! Two weeks ago i had someone come up to me while grocery shopping and they said that my three year old looked just like caylee i said well this little girl is mine her name is katelin because this was before anyone found anything i thought that old lady was going to turn me in...but the whole case is just sad i could not imagine anyone doing that to someone. why just why hurt a little angel like that! she was a beautiful little girl and her mom was my age i kept thinking no she couldn't have done something so heartless but not reporting her missing for all that time then blaming it on the babysitter..ugh!

I also have a little girl around the same age and cried this morning when they confirmed that the body was Caylee's. I don't see how anyone could possibly do that to a child, especially their own!
