Well,Adam was the first ever human being according to christian mythology. And he had no more chances than Eve to select.Do you think it is pitiable to be left without chances.Or is it better to have anyone as your companion, after all if it is a question of reproduction.Do you believe Adam would have loved Eve like now we are trying to fall in love. Please share!

As I see it, both Adam and Eve were pawns. G-ds little experiment.Adam and eve were put together Before they ate the Fruit of the tree. I feel , the search for meaning and love was in the fruit of Knowledge. So in other words Adam didn't know he Had a choice.

So,do you mean Adam would have behaved different if he didn't ate the forbidden fruit and awaited the god's nod.And he could have loved eve without seeing her sexually at the first sight. They could have enjoyed love before that?

I agree . It is a modern thought that a marriage Has to be based on love.Adam and Eve were commanded to "Be Fruitful And Multiply."Love was not mentioned.

So.love is something invented later on and we have confused our lives with it.Will you agree on this?We would have remained like animals without love, just reproducing and multiplying the species of mankind. The world could be different if it was the case!Cheers!

I'm reminded of another joke. That in fact says Adam was luckier since he didn't have a mother in law. Adam apparently had no one to fiddle around with. I ain't saying today we need to have more than one today either. But the pleasure even with the sight of the eyes does matter. Throughout his life this man was exposed to (and vice versa) to a single woman. (even his eyes) Pity! Imagine being stranded in an island all your life with a single girl! In those regards we're lucky having born so late!

LOL!it should be Eve who was lucky not to have a mother in law.Because mostly it is girls who suffers and complain about their mother in laws.Yes,if there were other women Adam could have enjoyed their presence at the least.Poor Adam and Eve,they had no other choices left.Cheers!

thats a very good question there.... well first of all adam and eve did not know anything about love when they first met, nor did they know anything about chances..... or flirting or anything to do with more men or women..... for them it was just a reproduction issue where as in todays world its not a reproduction issue..... thats what is called evolution.... we have evolved from the basic feelings and emotions of adam and eve and evolved to greater human beings with vast number of emotions and feelings for one another..... i dont feel sad for adam as at that time eve was the only woman around...probably hav efelt sad for him if she wouldnt have accepted him cos then there wouldnt be a human race..... and there would be no love.....

This topic is fun.maybe adam didn't know what is love, and so we don't need to pity him.

That is right. He would not be aware that he is left without choices.Only we can think of it and pity him.On his side,he would not have imagined a discussion like this could arise.LOL!Cheers!

I am not pity on him. He is lucky to have only one girl in this world and that too as lover. He experience a true love from Eva and now a days its too rare to see true love and lovers.

Adam is lucky in the sense he had no other men to compare with. So,Eve was loyal to him and she would have thought him to be the ideal man.But I doubt whether there was love within them.In fact, love is later on invented by us and what Adam and Eve knew was to reproduce and just multiply.Cheers!

I think Adam had only one aim at that point of time - expand his family. So it wouldn't matter to him if it was the poor eve or Katherina Kaif - LOL. Nothing personal, just kidding :)

Do you pity him for having no other options is the question.I think even today there are more Adams who get married to a particular girl and can't think of other opportunities. They just live a stereotyped life with the same girl until the end. What do you think of it?
