Are you going to say "NO" to Christmas discussions?

I find a new Christmas discussion will be born every one or two seconds in mylot, and few of them can attract more than 3 responses, i guess nobody likes to give comments to the same topic again and again, and it's a real boring work to write the response once again. Instead of starting too many christmas discussions, why not leave some seasonal and holiday greetings and wishes in your friends' mylot.

Responding to the same thing over and over is not much fun and even less interesting fior those who read other responses. Sometimes it is possible to respond to a couple of different discussions and that would all depend on the wording and what the discussion started wants to know. However the same types of discussions started by different members which ask things like "are you ready for Christmas", "have you finished your Chrtistmas shopping", "what are you eating for Christmas" do become a bit repetitive in my opionion. In some ways I do feel a bit sorry for the topic starter as they get so few replies but at the same time most people would respond to the first one that they see. After that there really is not much more to say in response and still be able to add something to the discussion. It generqlly is not holiday greetings and wishes that people respond with I have found but more what they are giving and how they are able to fit it the edxtra costs into their budget. By reading through the responses to some of these discussions I have found some rather interesting and ingenious suggestions of gifts that other members are giving or have received in the past.

Good and worthy discussions round the topic "Christmas" do exist. Merry Christmas and happy new year! To Oldboy46 From XoyyoX Dec. 24th, 2008

Most discussions have some element of interest in them for at least one person other than the topic started that is. Just because a discussion holds no interest for me, that does not mean it is uninteresting or boring. Thankfully the world is made up of people who have different interests and outlook on life or else it would be a very boring place to be. AS I said in my initial response, not every discussion interests me or do I even respond to even if it does. However at the same time I can enjoy reading the responses that others have made and have found some helpful ideas that I would never have thought of myself.
