I make it a point when I give a gift I never write on the tag if I atually buy a new gift bag....in case someone wants to reuse the bag. Instead I grab a card and write a little something and stick it on top. Alot of my friends do this also.... So how many of you do this? Do you collect for all seasons or just for the Christmas Holidays...

I do not write on the gift tags so I can reuse bags. You really cannot tell that a bag has been reused and I see no point in buying a new one when you have one that looks new. I think that it is also a good idea if you want to be envrionmentally friendly. I have bags for all of the seasons and occasions. I do buy new bags, but I like to get them at the end of the season to save money.

Reusing gift bags to give to others? I seldom do that because whenever I get a gift bag I used to damage it so bad that it can't be reused . So, the answer is no, I don't reuse gift bags.

To be honest I have known people to whom recycled but instead of not writing on the tag they did so but either stuck a label over it (the to, from: labels) or whited it out and wrote over. I think it's a great idea to not write on it at all, and it gives the receiver of the bag (and hopefully gift) reuse it! Have a wonderful day!

I reuse bags if I still have them around and don't mind if others reuse the bags I give them. However, I write my name on the tag of the bag. I only do it, because if you're at an event with many gifts, your card could be sepereated and no one would know what you gave, or that you gave any thing at all.
