uhhmm! ending up with someone whom you've loved dearly is quite hard. There shud be a good exit. I read one suggestion about breaking up in the exact same place where you met, to suggest that the relationship has completed its circle. Ending a relationship means speaking our piece without blaming and not taking responsibility for another's feelings. and i think theres no exact word or way on how to end up one's relationship without hurting someone. I think it is better to tell the reason personally and say bye. It will help to reduce the pain in the other person's heart.

Everything depends on how deep or shallow your relationship is with the other party. If it has just been a twoday affair then you can get out of it by saying thanks its been great knowing you but sorry i don`t think we are made for each other. Send your bf/gf a box of chocs or a bouquet with a thank you note and say lets just be friends or if she/he does not want that too then just quietly depart without any fuss. If it has been a serious relationshi that did not work. then tell the other party nicely that though my heart is breaking we have to go our seperate ways and i wish you all the best in your future life. Let us remember the sweet moments that we had together and for get our differences and our bitter moments.End it again with flowers and thankyou note for all the wonderful times you had together.

i think the best way is to tell your bf/gf the reason why you have to end your relationship. besides i do believe that there's no permanent in this world, truth will set you free. :)
