Do you have a favorite Christmas Song?
I have a bunch. Grandma Got Runover By A Reindeer has been a favorite all my life. So have the Alvin and the Chipmunk songs, I'm listening to those right now.
I also like all of the Christmas songs by Trans Siberian Orchestra, especially Christmas Eve Sarajevo.
I'm trying to find more songs to download. The radio has only been playing the same few songs over and over and I'm tired of hearing those. I want something different.

All I want for Christmas by Mariah Carey...
As to the most famous X-mas song,I always found it creepy. "He knows when you're sleeping,he knows when you're awake...".Sounds like a maniac or serial killer,not Santa!:)

No Cinthiann, it's a different, newer song, sort of a love song. "All I want for Christmas is you, Santa won't you bring me the one I really need, won't you please bring my baby to me"

I've never heard of 'Grandma got run over my aa reindeer'. It sounds hilarious. I know the Alvin ones. I like to hear'rudolph the rednose reindeer' and the grandsa and I sing this one.
I adore hearing'Oh Holy NIght' - this gives me goose bumps.I love to hear small children sing 'away in a manger'. Cannot remember anymore right now. Blessings

But you should go download Grandma got run over by a reindeer, it is hillarious. It's been out since I was a kid and I love it.

Do you remember this one? "when Santa got stuck up the chimney, he began to shout. You girls and boys won't get any toys if you don't get me out. My beard is black, there's soot in my sack and my nose is tickling too. when Santa got stuck up the chimney, Ashoo, ashoo ashoo.
Going to sing that one tonight.

I also enjoy Grandma got run over by a reindeer, the other songs I like are probably the ones you keep hearing. God rest ye merry gentlemen and Jingle bell rock being the two. I also like Percy the Puney Poinsetta.

I don't think I've heard the song you've mentioned, but the song "Percy the Puney Poinsetta" is about a poinsetta in a shop being the last pick, at the beginning of the song he's sad but then at the end he's not. I believe the story is being told by someone else, it's a nice song.

I don't really like Christmas songs, they make me think of crowded shopping malls and grocery stores. But I think if I had to name a favorite it would be 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus'. I seriously didn't 'get' that song until I was over 20. I had always thought it was a terrible, terrible song and that the kids mom was a dirty cheater!

LOL, that's too funny. I don't remember what I thought the first time, but I figured, hey, it's Santa, no big deal. Daddy can't blame her for kissing Santa.

Oh, I remember this one. I loved it. Do you remember ' The Virgin Mary had a baby boy' sung by Harry Bellafonte? I liked that one too. Blessings
