I hate my home

I am at the end of my rope. I deal with noise everyday almost from this upstairs person and her kids. I hate my home. It isn't even a home as far as I am concerned. It is an apartment and I hate it. I just wish I could have peace and quiet. I would give anything to live in a house. But I can't afford to. To rent a house is so expensive. Also it is so hard to find a place that allows pets. And I refuce to ever give my kitty up. This place keeps letting these kind of people in here. They have no respect for anyone else. If I had one wish right now it would be to be in a nice place. I would love to find a duplex. I lived in one before and it was very nice and big. With the economy the way it is now, prices have gone up on everything. Even rentals. Well, I just needed to vent my anger. Anyone else in this situation?? Or do most of you have your own house?

I don't hate my home but what i hate is our renter on the other house so i could say that i really understand what are you feeling right now. I always have my long patience and i also keep my temper in control but this renter is so noisy-not the adult but the little boy that cries like hell. I tell you its really very annoying when it cries and it is really disturbing. I know children do cries but this one is different, like it cries like hell. Their room is just a meter away from my room that is why its very loud and they don't even care if they disturbed. For the last 6 months, i have no proper sleep because i couldn't bare the noise whenever he cries. Its like in every early morning when the sun hasn't rise up yet, he cries and whenever that happens i wake up from a short sleep and can hardly go back to sleep after that. Gosh, i tell you all i need is a quite and peace place and since from the time they live here, it change. Right now, i am happy to hear that they will moving because they haven't paid their rent to us. At least in the coming new year, i will gain back my proper sleep.

cheenlly, It is good that your renters are moving. Maybe you will get some peace and quiet then. I feel like no one understands me. All my friends and family have thier own house so they don't know what it is like. I would love to rent a house, but they are so expensive here now. So I would like a nice duplex. The only problem is not many landlords allow pets. That hurts me so much because I love animals and have always had kitties. I just wish more would allow it. I know about the sleeping problem to. The noise above me is bad. I have a hard time sleeping to. Well maybe 2009 will be better.

Yes I have experienced this before 5 years i used to live in an apartment and the apartment is located next to a busy road and vehicles keep making hell a lot of noise there i hate that.....i found it really hard to study there..and more over my neighbours are very noisy they used to hear loud music most of the time in the evenings and i used to study in the evenings and they are really disturbing. And one of my neighbours had a big dog which used to bark without any reason. Then we shifted to an independent house in the suburbs of the city. I lead a very peaceful life here. I will pray that you get all wealth to buy a new independent home. Happy Mylotting

sudarsan, Thanks for your wish for me. I wish it to. I know how it can be with studying. I was in college a few years back and you have to have quiet for that. You are lucky that you have a peaceful home now. Thanks again

I know exactly how you feel, I live in an apartment and my next door neighbors were so noisey, mostly when the parents were not home they had a 17 year old son and he played guitar. there were times that I thought I would lose my mind! I try to be qquiet and respectfull of my neighbors and I am very understanding because I know that everyone has there own schedules and sometimes it isent easy to be quiet so I dont complain. Now that my neighbor has moved out maybee I will get a better one. I would love to be in a house also.

Ladybug, I guess we are in the same boat. I to, try to be respectful but others aren't around me. That makes it even harder. When the noise is bad, I feel like pulling out my hair. I would give anything to be in a house! But with no job, I could never get financing. Besides, taking care of a house is a big job and its just me and my son. I don't know how to fix anything. I would love to rent one though. Maybe someday I will get lucky and find a nice house to rent. This woman (or girl) I should call her cause she only looks 15 years old and has a 2 year old and a 4 year old! Just moved in not that long ago. I never had a problem with anyone up there till now. I just wish she would move! Good luck to you.

yeah I feel you on this... I don't like my home too. My sister older sister and my mom decides things for me... Like my decisions are never important and they never care. Like want I wanna wear, what course to take up, where to find a job and who to date. I'm not a little kid anymore and they still won't listen to me, they don't care if they hurt me as long as they can get what they want. I can't so what I want... and I hate it so much... :(
