Hi, kunking. This is really a good discussion. I wish i have such as luck to win so much money without putting much efforts. Where is this student from? Is it in dollars? If i were that lucky to win the prize, i would still continue my studies. Because studying could make me have better life in the future, i didn't mean better life must have lots of money, here what i mean is i could gain the knowledge from the college and apply what i have learnt in my life, the knowledge might smooth my life without making too many mistakes. Sure we can also learn outside from the school. But for myself, i will have more motivation to learn and take initial step to gain the knowledge. Besides, i would save the money and earn the interest. Or perhaps i will use some of the money for making small business which i can handle during my study life, such as online business. There are many students making this and earn some pocket money. I think the most important thing is to let the money grows. I would try to think of many ways to earn more money with the money i won. What about you? Would you quit your job or studies? Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

I will consider about it. And it's likely I will quit my job because I already have the good wealth. It is time for me to do something I like. I will save some, spend some and invest some money. So I don't have to worry about there will be no money one day. I love China

I would still work, just not as hard as I use to. $700,00 isn't going to last you as long as you think, not if you don't replace what you spend. Besides, I think I'd get bored and gain back all the weight I just lost if I stayed home. I would want to still have contact with the outside world, and that is not possible when you stay at home with the kids all day.

No ways! Money doesn't last for ever and I don't work simply to earn my living. I enjoy my profession. If a get a large some of money, may be I'll take a temporary break from work and go on a holiday to some nice place. But I'll definitely come back and continue my work. As far as money is concerned, may be I'll invest it wisely or start a business of my own with that, which is equal to doing work.

No, I won't. I'll keep my job and I will invest that large amount of money in stocks or other profitable investment.

well if i've got a really obscene amount of money i'd probably quit my current job. it's not exactly a bad job but i can think of a lot of things i'd rather do with my time. this is just a job that pays the bills and affords a little luxury at times. however, $700,000 is not a lot to go, especially if one intends to get their own pad. the amount of money is just enough to pay for the pad. so i guess i'd save some of that money and spend the rest on a nice vacation.

quit? definitely not! Sooner of later the money would be used up & then what will i be left with? That is unless i engage a good investor. But even so, i'd still continue with my work or studies and simply watch my investment grow my money. i guess i'd only stop working (but i would at least attain my degree first) when i am comfortably secure about the fact that my investments are progressing just as i want them and my money is making more money for me. =)

I am already a retired person and if i ever get to see that sort of a sum(which is most unlikely) i will invest the amount and live the rest of my life comfortably on the dividends which accrue from it.Since my country does not have dollar currency such a thing would just be a dream for me.

I definitely wouldn't have quit school but at the present moment, I'd quit my job for a tenth of that.... For starters my job is making me nuts and second, my "move-out" goal is $3500 so $7000 would definitely cover that. hehe And $700,000 would get me by until I found that illusive career that I enjoy and look forward to every day.

If all I got was 700,000 dollars, I would invest it in a business that can earn me even more money. There are many many things you can do with 700,000 dollars that can get you even more money. So that's what I'd do. Invest and invest.

I wouldn't have quit school for that amount of money if anything I would have used that money for school and into my business.I would purchase a house though. You definitely need to know how to invest your money wisely to see the benefits of winning an amount of money like that.
