Hello my fellow Mylotters. Christopher Gayle recently played 197 a match saving one for the West Indies against New Zeland in ( N.Z) that innings was unlike any other tipical Chris Gayle innings he batted long and slow to ensure the west indies break the 12 years loosing drought in New Zeland. He is also scoring centuries in ODI regularly my question is has he become mature naturally or captaincy?

Chris Gayle is one of the players who for some unknown reason has not been able to convert his immense talent into consistent performances in international cricket. On his day he is the most dangerous batsman in world cricket alongwith Virender Sehwag but as a cricket lover i feel bad on his failing more often than succeeding. His recent performance undoubtedly shows that now he is more matured.Hope he just gets better.

Chris Gayle is one of the three most experienced players in the present West Indies team ( other than Chanderpaul and Sarwan). So it is definite that he has to take a lot of responsibility. And he proved that. He has fired when his team needed the most. This shows his level of maturity. The one more reason for his maturity is being his captaincy. This has made him more responsible towards his team.
