Ever since I joined mylot I always tried to post more and more answers to others discussion .Simultaneously I always rate maximum post as + which have quality post.
Not all post are equal .As it is written in the rule on mylot.
Does it affects our rating ?
Does it affects our earnings also ?
Do all of myloter's follow the same rule or any other .
I think many of the myloters are simply posting their views and forgetting to rate the discussion .
Do you ever had this problem?
Has your rating ever decreased?

I alway rate discussion as a (+) only. I never rate them negative and would never like to go negative to any discussion even if I am not agreed with the owner. I would rater like to post my views on them but that's for sure that I will not rate it - ve.

I don't know about other mylotters, but I always rate responses. Oftentimes positive, but I could rate a negative depending on the behavior of the respondent. If he/ she responds in a rude and disrespectful manner or the response is just not related to the topic, then I could rate that negative.
It's in the guidelines to rate, and so I rate every response I receive. What I know is that positive and negative ratings could increase and decrease your reputation as what is shown in the color of your star.

I always rate positive to all discussion.After reading the discussion,i always press the plus button.I am not much interested in stars and rating.I am here to spend my free time and earn some extra money.

Dear friend,
All most all discussion I do rate and among them the most I do rate is giving a + for the discussion and if not necessary I may leave it. I am not sure whether it will affects the earning. But I hope it would give a moral confidence for that discussion.

Every new posted discussion that I choose to make entry, it is my habitual activity to rate the poster at "+" button rating. If I dislike that discussion, why should I respond to that posted new discussion. Again, one more "+" rating when anyone put up their comment under my response not necessarily to the discussion poster making revisit by comment added. We on here are on and in open discussion. Everybody has the rights for their saying UNLESS they violate the discussion guideline.
Although I'd bad experiences in my past time, on enjoying my red-star and matter of fact only another one point to reach blue-star, being under-rated by some members and my star color vanish its red turns to silver-star. A long time taken to back one stage/level to yellow-star BUT my motive being a myLot member is not to take revenge. First and foremost, it does not effect my earnings and now am no longer interested in getting my star-color changing. Keep going and do my best.

It's a reality. Very sad today when heard "sanuanu", your responder no. 2, up there, today her star-color downed from red to yellow. You can visit to her profile and look for her posted new discussion about that sad news.
Do other users intentionally rate negative some posts.
They are allowed by myLot rating system. Everybody has their rights for which is which to choose.
I'm shocked to know that.
No need to shocked about, at least in future time if you heard about the similar doleful story, you have discerned yourself about this activity can happen to anyone.

Nope. Definitely not. Unless members keep on contributing "+" rating to my posted new discussion, posted response and posted comment. That's only the way when we do talking about myLot reputation rating system.

I always rate all those who respond to my discussions. I always give a (+) rate and i have never tried giving a (-) rating. I think instead of giving a (-) rate to others i would not rather rate him at all. But so far i dont think anyone deserves a (-) rate. Almose all responses i got were halpful and all have always good intentions.
I have never faild giving a (+) rating because after reading responses i give immediately a (+) rating as my sign that i have read a certain response.

Sure, I always rate others's posts positive. Even if the fame doesn't have an effect on our earning here, but I think it's better for us to have a good fame. So I always rate it positive, even if we have the different opinions.

i tend to just reply to the discussion and simply forget to rate.
at times when even i find a repsonse really good, i do at times forget to rate them. but i do attempt to rate every single response on my discussions though be it good or bad.
and yes, my rating has decreased. i started off as a 5, went up to a 7 and up to an 8 then down to a 6 and now up back to a 7.
it's like a roller coaster ride for me.

No, I seldom rate discussions. When I do, I do give a plus rating because it means hat I really enjoyed the discussion. I used to always give feedback and rating here on mylot but since finding out that the star system was faulty, I didn't bother giving out ratings anymore.

I always rate the post of discussion which i start but has not rated other discussion, rating is also important in earning. If someone post is great meaningful to me and it contain useful information than only i rate+.

i always rate positive. i don't think i have ever posted anyone negative. i don't want to effect any ones rating. i think many have rated me negative my reputation is not going up for some reason. i think there are many that don't rate and some who just like to rate negative. a word to those people that's not good. i surely think there has to be way to know why was one got rated negative if not positive.
