Got a 7 inside a white Star.What does it mean ? need help

Earlier today in the morning I posted a discussion " Do you rate every discussion as + ".It has got good response From great myloters.
I got so many great suggestion ,tricks ,guidelines and details from all you friends out there who supported me a lot.I'm thankful to them.
But suddenly something happened ,just as I crossed the century 'a star of white color with 7 inside appeared.I was amazed to watch that.It says mylot rating of 74/100.
What does it mean?
What's it significance?
Its not that I am not happy ,I am feeling great but there are questions coming to mind.Like
What is the meaning of color ?
How can I increase my ratings further ?
Please share your views , valuable suggestion ,insights and your experiences .

When you reach 100 posts you are entitled to get a star. There are other privileges that come with various posts milestones that you will be getting if you continue to post. Please read the rules. As you can see not everyone likes your posts but do not try to take it personally. In order to get and maintain a 10 rated star you must post bland replies and stay away from the religion and politics sections. The color or the star is different for different number ratings, e.g. silver for a 7 rating and blue for a 10 rating.

The star is the privilege. Other milestones you get to use myLot code in your replies and cut and paste. I am not sure at which point you can get the other benefits but I can find out if you are interested. I passed most of them and I am wondering if there is any more to come.

I guess you are doing good here. I think it is maybe because some of your discussion here were given a (+) rating by mylotters here. You just have to keep posting quality discussions if you like to have higher earnings and also higher star rankings here. I think my star rating here also hasnt really moved much eversince i had it, i think it has been an 9 rating as i had i before until now. Just keep up the good work and i know you will increase your rating someday. Just enjoying what you do here and you wont notice it until you have reach your 10 star rating. hehe

congrats for getting 7!!
it means you're giving good comments and quality posts. However, this rating can decrease or increase too. Your aim would be getting a blue star with a 10 inside.
Whenever someone think you've given a good post and rates you a + , your rating level will go up! As you increase, so will your star.
And you got your star because you hit 100 posts...
Continue mylotting and earning all at the same time... =)

It means you are almost the best. 10 is the highest i just asked about this the other day. I think I have like a 6 it does go up and down however, so just keep that in mind, merry christmas.
