My daughter got a Christmas Bonus and it was over $400! I do not get anything near that. I would love to get a bonus but there is not a chance in this life that that will happen here. How about where you work, do they offer any bonuses? What's the biggest killa bonus you've ever received?

My biggest work bonus was only $25. LOL Yep, not to great, I'm afraid. But it was 13 years ago and it was only a part time job. And since it was part time I hadn't been expecting a bonus at all. Even though it was for only $25, it was still a nice little surprise. My husband's biggest work bonus was for $900, I believe. He's been with the same company for almost 8 years now and each year the bonus would get bigger. That is, until this year where neither of us were expecting him to get a bonus, seeing how the economy is and all. But surprisingly his boss gave my husband a bonus of $400. With work being slow like it is, this extra bit of money is a great help for my family and I.

Well ypu are doing better than I, my boss gave us $25 gift certificates a couple of years in a row but this year we didn't even get that. LOL This year they bought new furniture and put down a new hardwood floor in their apartment on the property and made some of the employee do some of the labor to get all the work done. They are also paying $20,000 tution for their kids, who are in like 2nd grade and nursery school. I guess there wasn't enough to go around. Your husband must be a great employee; you guys are awesome!

I usually get a pretty good bonus, but it's not for Christmas. I forget what it's called, but it usually comes around the same time as our yearly raise. I don't think that the bonus or the raise will be very big this year because of the bad economy.

I think you may be right in a general sense, banadux, annual bonuses will probably take it in the shorts pretty hard this year. The best bonus these days is still having a job. LOL
