Speaking of computers.....

any advice on what brand or company too lookinto buying computers in various price ranges (500.00 to 800.00) (900.00 to 1500.00 ( or 1600.00 and up) for basic photot editing and sharing, email, school projects (high school and college) word processing, music down loads and burning, and some online games? I would really like some advice from more expierenced computer folks!

that is the thing, I dont really understnad the "specs" and what they mean. that is why I listed the things my son needs the computer for. Thanks for responding...

well for games get a computer with more RAM n a big harddisk but if he is just goin to use it for school workds thne a small computer will bjust fine IM sure if u go n look at hte computers u will soon understand wht he wants its not tht hard n keep faith in urself! :D cheers

Your needs are very basic need so you have a wide variety to choose from can you get assembled pc's in your country if you can get i advise you to go for assembled if they are not available go for dell series they have goog processing power and you even get the operating system for free i think dell has opened it's sales store everywhere or else you can buy dell from directly from the online. But if you want to play online games you must have good internet connection.

I think for the price and quality it's hard to beat Dell especially since they have good support for those not so familiar with computers.
