Who else called it an early night with the Christmas celebrations?

We have been home for about an hour. We had a nice meal, opened gifts, came home. We spent about 3 hours out give or take 1/2 an hour. Pediatrician didn't want the baby out for too long. And I was supposed to keep things to a minimum. Still had a nice time, even though it was an early night. Anyone call it quits yet?

I think a guest who retires early (that is goes home) is never considered rude. It is more likely the guest that stays overlong (and causes the host to wonder how to politely kick them out) who is improper, I think. :)

We did our celebrations on christmas Eve. I took my tree down on christmas Day and called it as it was. It just didn't seem like Christmas this year.

I left my brothers house around 8pm. I had gotten there around noon, but then I ran out to Walgreen's to grab some paper towels and a few last minute essentials. My Christmas usually wraps up around that time every year.
