Good Day For Me/How About You?

It has been a very good day for me peaceful and relaxing, even the telephone got a vacation today. My telemarketers took the day off, I have not had one phone call from them to day. I know they will start up bright and early in the morning. I am getting these calls because I was searching for some medical/health insurance online and I was putting in my phone number now they will not stop calling, some of them will leave a message and some won't.
Was your day peaceful and relaxing/

My day was very peaceful. I am fighting a cold and my wonderful husband took our 2 year old out of the house. I was able to rest and take a nap. I also was able to reclaim our front room from the various scraps of wrapping paper and misculanious toys sting lingering from yesterday. However, I have recieved a couple telemarketers' phone calls. The pesty car sales men never take a break.

My day has been just a normal day for me. I got up and went to work this morning, after work, I had to run a few errands. Now, I am home and on the computer. Just a normal day for me. To be honest, even though I had to work, today was more peaceful and relaxing for me than yesterday when I had to spend the day cooking Christmas dinner for the family, as well as taking care of the other things that needed to be done.

No telemarketers today. I even got a nap.I will be at work really early tomorrow, covering for some other people because I am on the insurance to drive.

I am going in to do some training on Saturday. I have the key to the activity center and the computer room. The sooner I get training, the better.

Do you know there's a place to register your phone number so that telemarketers can't call you? I believe it's called donotcall.gov but I'm not sure. By now I'm sure someone has told you about it already since I'm a weee bit late in answering your discussion but I thought I'd still throw the idea in just in case. I hate telemarketers calling me and have both my cell phone and home phone registered.

Hi Chevee,
Yes i had a quiet day but don't know what relaxing day is as I was doing the cooking while hubby slept this afternoon and I had about three phone calls one from my friend and one from my neice then one from my hubbies friend. Hugs.

Just as I read your post, I was thinking about how lovely it is that the phone hasn't rung and it's been a quiet morning. Then I looked at the phone and saw, in the caller ID window, NO LINE. I called the phone company from my cell and they fixed it. Well, whether because they've decided to give me a break, or whether I just didn't know the phone was out of order, I've really enjoyed this quiet morning.

Yes today was fun..funny you mention about phone calls..My oldest daughter got a message from sprint on her cell phone today saying her bill is due..so she wrote back..Merry Christmas...lol..What a bunch of morons to text her that on today...

Well, there was not much of a festive Christmas aura in my house this year. I have been out of work, and we had no money for anything. I did go to church on Christmas eve, actually that is the reason for the season.
I was in bed most of the day on Christmas, I was not feeling well. Thankfully, no bill collectors called on Christmas day, but bright and early on the day after Christmas my phone began it's usually ringing off of the hook.

Christmas was a nice quiet day here. Slept in late, then got up and had breakfast and made calls to family in other states. Then opened gifts (I got the two things I really wanted!). Then it was time to prepare our Christmas dinner. By the time that meal was over with it was nap time! Slept a couple of hours on the couch.. and ended the day with a good movie with my guy. I had thought it was going to be a sad day since it was just the two of us. But really, it was nice and relaxing.
