I used to post at least one new entry each day plus one new photo. I really got out of the habit a few months ago, though, and now I rarely update it at all. I know my readership has really dropped off too. I sort of miss it but several people that know me in real life found my blog, so sadly, I feel the need to self-censor now. I think I might just start a new one where I can say whatever I want and can get back into doing it daily.

It does seem that there is a real difference between posting on line to a bunch of people you only know through that realm and communicating with actual family and friends outside of the computer. There is a boldness allowed when you are not known. I understand what you are saying and encourage you to get back at it, if you have the time.

I can understand that...there are sometimes when you just want to be anoymous. My blog is on xanga. I am going to start updating at least 3 times a week, to try to promote my freelance writing. You gave a great response. Thank you. Let me know when you set up your new one.

Blogging is similar to an online journal. They have gone a bit further now, and a lot of them are more like official websites, only where you can chat/send messages between friends. Some blogs can be pretty complex, while others, like mine, are just like a journal. Thanks for the response.
