We tend to use gift bags anymore and a gift bag that was used last year got reused again this year so nothing had to be spent nor did we have to go out and buy another. What wrapping paper we did get was pretty torn so that really can't be resused.

Hi Savvypat, I didn't have much wrapping paper that could be reused but I have already put the rest into the recycling bin. I had no cans but a few bottles which are in recycling and all the peel from the veg has gone onto the compost of too the rabbits if cabbage or carrots. I have cardboard sorted ready to take to recycling centre so there is in fact very little to go to landfill my end really. Huggles. Ellie :D

Err I'll be honest I don't keep bottles or cans what I usually do is just reuse plastic bags. All organic waste we throw it in an empty lot to decompose. I really would want to keep used paper for recycling but I really don't know where to take them and we don't have room for stacking. I admire you for being so caring for our environment.

No I don't have the habit of collecting re usable things as you are doing. But I just reduced myself in using the plastic materials to larger extent...
I recommend mylotters to be as eco-friendly as you can....
