I have been watching this ever since I heard an animated version came out. I hadn't read the manga beforehand so I didn't know what to expect, but after I watched it I completely lost myself in the plot. Kyoko has a really interesting personality, which is why she's my favorite female character, along with Moko, whom she befriends along her way to become an actress good enough to compete with Shou, in order to get her "revenge". After the latest episode got subbed though, I found myself with the insatiable need to know what happens after, so I naturally turned to the manga, which has gotten me hooked onto the series even more. It makes me wonder what kind of things they are going to change in the plot in order to make it fit in the 20 something episodes they expect this series to be finished in (Don't quote me on that. . .this is based on my assumption of the manga and the fact that most shoujo manga do not run longer than 26 episodes average.) Gets me kinda stoked up thinking about it. (:

Yea!! I love Skip Beat! too. Kyoko is really funny! She is so funny when she's in the 'evil' mode! I don't read the manga either but according to what my friends tell me, I believe the Anime will have an ending of its own, since the manga is moving quite slowly now. One thing for sure.. They will make Kyoko fall in love with Ren very soon........ (if I'm not wrong, this will be somewhat different from the manga).

Haha interesting. .I love it when she's in evil mode. .I hear that the scantalators won't have another chapter and translation done until the 20th of January. .I'm following both the manga and anime.

I heard the manga is better and I've been wanting to read it.. but can't find the time. I do find the anime good and funny. The animation and art may not be the very good but the plot and interesting characters compensate for that.

Oh if you want a website where you can read manga on, try OneManga(dot)com. They have tons of manga there and they have all the Skip Beat scans and chapters up to date. :)

I think they won't get to 26 eps to finish that much manga... plus the anime, is kinda slow... no really slow... about 4 eps + and they are still on the kyarura commercials... They haven't even gotten to Sho's PV, Dark Moon, Stalker Arc, Maria's B-day, Box 'R' arc... very slow... just make a never-ending one like Bleach or Naruto ahaha it's much easier to have it that way... and actually I found in some sites that it's scheduled to be 24 eps... o.O so slow and so long... they won't really finish the manga... anyways... about halfway... Kyoko doesn't really need her 'demons' and after which it's kinda obvius that Ren(kuon or Corn[kyoko's mispronuoncation]) is always in love with kyoko(similar to Kei Takashima loving Hikari, or That guy in earl and fairy, secretly but surely as a senpai lol)

lol thanks for your response. Yeah I kinda figured that, but my theory was that they were EITHER going to leave out a lot of things from the manga towards the middle or change the plot somewhat make a plausable ending. Like they did with Ouran.

Let's just hope that it doesnt turn out like Rosario + Vampire... It's anime is really out of tune to the manga o.O I love the anime... so it's possible 1.)End it normally and have another season 2.)or end it rushily and hope to get most of the manga into the anime (Please! NOO!!) 3.)or Continuously add episodes so that it would be never-ending like naruto or bleach!
