The smartphone has a great feature, unfortunately due to it its battery runs out fast. If its design can add the solar feature, probably it will be a good improvement. As well as the electronic calculator, if there is the solar, it won't use the battery. Probably this kind of electricity is little, but at least it's better than nothing. I think it will make the smartphone battery last longer time.

This is an creative idea. But it's going to need time to charge up using the solar energy. I have read articles about the idea of using kinetic energy to generate electricity too. Because we are moving our cell phone most of the time when we are walking around. The movement will cause the dynamo-like mechanism which will create voltage difference through electromagnetic field interactions, and produce current which could be used to charge the battery. I think a combination of solar and kinetic movement will lengthen the phone battery usage time.

That's cool, and you no longer need to replace the battery. I have seen one owned by my friend. He bought it with RM2500. That's too expensive for me. I think in future, they might able to integrate such technology into the cell phone. Then I just need to shake the phone, when it run out of battery

Manufacturers are working well especially on the battery department. I think pretty soon we'll have a stronger battery for our smartphones. It's like Ipod, The battery is pretty good and lasts for days even if used heavily. This may use this concept to prolong battery life for smartphones. I believe it is within reach.

Hello youless. I used to see a solar cell phone in a local mobile phone shop, which is great because the phone is charged naturally if you make a call with the phone facing the sun. I tried it to find this great feature. It ia a home-made one, but I don't remember its brand. Now I find that home-made mobile phones are much more beautiful than foreign ones in the appearance. But I am not sure about the quality. Take care, youless.
