I know a lot too, but I'll list my three favorites. I thought From Hell was amazing. He did an awesome job playing the obsessive compulsive opium-addict. Sleepy Hollow was also pretty fantastic, I really loved him in that. And finally...I'd have to say Don Juan deMarco. It was just so sweet and he was really sexy in it. :)

What's Eating Gilbert Grape - one of my absolute favorite movies and also stars Leonard DiCaprio who does an amazing job playing a mentally challenged character!!Edward Scissorhands - You love it or you hate it, I love it
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - I was disappointed!! I expected something huge because I love both Johnny Depp and the original Willy Wonka movie... but I just was not that impressed with this one:-(

Johnny Depp also starred in "Finding Neverland" , "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Sleepy Hollow" . He was quite good in almost all of these films . Yet; I believe "Finding Neverland" was his finest .

Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, and I can't think of the third. I don't think any of the two showcased a huge acting range.

Oh yeah... I forgot my son didn't like him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I don't think that I remember him in a movie where he was just normal. He always plays a freak... so there isn't much of an acting range.

Sleepy Hollow is a good one - I almost forgot about it. He has been in so many movies. I wonder if all of them have been named in this discussion. I don't think I saw Nightmare on Elm Street. haha. That was a long long time ago.

well so far and the only movie that comes to my mind when seeing or hearing johnny depp is.... edward scissorhands!
i saw it when i was still a little kid. that movie is one of my fave, not to mention that winona ryder is soooooo beautiful in that movie.

3 movies are nick of time,once upon a time in mexico and secret window.
I loved his role in nick of time.But well it was no where his best movie.I think Secret Window is where he did best.he was mesmerising.
