Can 1 referral link get a whole discussion with 55 responses deleted?

I recently started a discussion about how I was about to quit myLot. I got many responses (55 to be exact) but the last response is from a newbie. They posted a referral link to Cashcrate, trying to convince me that they earned a lot of money there. Will this get the whole discussion deleted? Or will myLot have mercy on my discussion and the people who responded?

When you post a discussion which is within the rules just one response containing a referral link will not cause the whole discussion to be deleted.
I saw the response you are concerned about and not only does it contain a referral link but it uses CAPS therefore should be reported by using the (!) against the response itself.
I hope you will be able to confirm that ONLY that response was removed

Well, the reason I am asking is because I have seen it happen before and I do not want it to happen again. Yes, I reported it and hope other people have reported it also. It has yet to be deleted, but I am now confident that my discussion won't be deleted thanks to your response.

Hey snam23,
what about posting your blog-site-links in the responses on other discussions. Don't you think this is also a violation against myLot's ToS??
I think you should rethink your own behavior before posting such a question and making someone else to the "bad" person.
Have a good time here and good luck for 2009!

It has not yet been deleted. I am wondering if that one referral link will delete it. I am not sure if it will get deleted and that is what I am asking. Since it is a referral link (www.referral.com/I am your referral) I am sure at least that post will get deleted. Or I hope it will.

No one can really tell as to whether it will or won't. The best thing to do is to respond to the person and let them know it's against the rules, and then report them to mylot.
While it may get it deleted, it might just get the responder deleted.

I do not think so. I think the only the post which contains the referral link will get deleted but I think you have to report it to the admin or else the whole discussion will get deleted.
