Do you still respond...

Do you still respond to topics about milestones here on myLot? I used to respond to this kinds of discussions. My intention was to motivate the author to do better especially in achieving his next few goals here on myLot. I have noticed however, that a lot of these discussions are being deleted. I am aware that topics about milestones are discouraged but few months back, there were a lot of them that were never deleted. Maybe because they were posted in good faith and in good taste. I do not know for sure. I rarely respond to these discussions now. I would only respond if aside from the milestone one has just achieved, there are other things being discussed in the item like questions asked by the author about certain things about myLot. Or, aside from the milestone being mentioned, the author tells about his/her experiences here on myLot.

Hi dolce! You know I was wondering about something with the milestone discussions. There was one that I did respond to just today and I really wasn't going to but I did. Now some of them do get deleted, but this one didn't and that is all that is was about. So I don't understand why some do get deleted and some don't. I am tired too of answering them. I did it when I hit the 200 and then I didn't dare do it again! Not even for the 1000! Now I barely pay attention myself when I hit another milestone! I think I may notice when I hit my next big one which would be 5000 like you will! But I sure won't dare mention it!lol

if one wishes to make a discussion on his milestone, he'd better talk about it not as a milestone but an achievement which has been reached because of some efforts at it. what was it that had almost made you not make it. there must have been some things which took place in your life which made you leave mylot and then you have made a dramatic come back because the hindrance dissipated in thin air for whatever cause. if anyone talks about milestone per se, it used to be coming from newbies who talks about how happy he is that his star now appears. that he was so excited to see it up there. now, these topics get deleted because, they make it day after day so as to have been able to generate a discussion without much thinking to do about what topic to delve on.

I haven't came across a milestone discussion in awhile. Though I am way behind in responding to discussions in my inbox. It's hard trying to keep up with everything that I belong to online. I try to spread myself around, but something always gets left out a little bit more than the other, and lately it has been mylot that I've not been as active.

always make it a point to respond ti this milsdtone discussions. When they are happy and say something I fell like participating in that person's happiness. It is a decent thing to do.And supporting , encouraging and wishing will make the same milestones happen to us whenever we need them very bad.

As a general rule I do not. Reason being is that as you alluded to, it all depends on how the author writes about it that allows it to stick. If the writer was giving genuine information that would be useful to others it was allowed to stay; however if it was just speaking directly of the milestone, usually it got deleted. It also depends on MyLot Admin's favor. Instead of trying to pick and choose which ones would get deleted and which would stay, I have decided to leave them alone altogether.

No, I no longer respond to discussions about milestones simply because they do get deleted so it is a waste of my time. It is a shame that they do because it is an achievement for people to reach certain milestones especially when you think that the posting score is related to how many discussions people have set and responded too, it is a big thing.

I still answer them every now and then, especially if they are interesting. I usually have some kind of input for those.

i don't believe that topics about milestones are worth responding to. everyone of us here can produce posts on that one. i have noticed that there are some mylotians who keep on posting a minimum of weekly updates on their earnings or earned points. i do not see why they are doing this. but if the topic is on problems encountered during mylotting, that is a different side already. it is not milestone per se that is being touched. just like you, dolce, i no longer respond to discussions which hold milestones for a topic. for me, it is an empty topic to discuss at all.

Hi dolce_vita78! No, I don't think I would be responding to any of such topics since I will also be affected by the post counts. I used to do the same thing, responding to them so as to motivate them, encourage them and at the same time share the happiness with them. However, the topic will just be deleted and so is my response and my post count will be reduced. So, I think I will avoid such topics so as not to be disappointed of not seeing it the following day. Happy New year! Take care always..God Bless! lovelots..faith210

No I don't respond on milestone discussions. It was added in the 'don'ts' part of the Guidelines a few months back and that was when they started disappearing too. Enough users have told others that they get deleted so I don't even barge in and warn any more either.

I too have now noticed that a lot of these discussions are being deleted. That is why I try to avoid replying to these discussions. But there are a few that I do reply to. And in the end some of them do get deleted.

It's my first time to write here on mylot. The first one I got to rid of it dahil walang kwenta, well I'm not really a good writer but I'm trying to make of it out of my boredom. Or I just say it para ba makapag libang-libang muna since most of my time I spend myself along here on the computer. Blog is like talking or expressing your thoughts to yourself but of course yun nga lang it's written so someone like you is reading this. It's my online journal. More questions about me? feel free to put your comment. just be nice. thanks
