I prefer cohabitation, Because if it doesn't work, each goes for her road, and you?

If you enter into a relationship thinking that if it doesn't work each goes for her road. Well in that case it will not work simply because of the negativity in the relationship before it even starts. I am a strong advocate of marriage and within all marriages there will be good and bad times, but people do work things out. This is surely much better than saying "this is too hard, I'm hitting the road" which is what you are saying is better if you are cohabitating. Of course you are still young so that will influence your thinking but I would hope that with age will also come maturity are the preparedness to accept responsibility. In fact many people actually do change their minds once they are a little older and meet "the one" person they want to spend their life with. :)

I used to claim to prefer cohabitation, until I finally agreed to marry him. Now that we're married, and have a child, our tax situation is much better as a married couple as opposed to being a cohabitating couple. My grandparents always loved my husband, but they really began to show their affections after we finally tied the knot and stopped "living in sin".

I prefer marriage. In the old days they used to say, Why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free? I think it's true, lol. I don't mean to offend, but I see a lot of cohabitating couples, even a lot with kids, and I think they've played grown-up too long, they'll never be real grown-ups now...

There is an old saying. If you can get the milk with out the cow, who needs the cow. So, if you get what you want, who needs the marriage. On the same tone, marriage is for me. It is a trusting commitment to work it out and love one another. When you don't have that commitment, it is easy to break up when the newness wears off. But, to each their own.

Me personnally I does not matter either way. My boyfriend, I call him my hubbby, and I have been together for ten years now and never married.Probably will happen one day but not soon. I think spiritually we are married. We just don't have it on paper.

If you are sure of finding the right person you must get married. I think so.
