Sometimes I wish I could shout that from the roof top. People just seem to want to be in everyone elses business. Some how I always get drug into things, and I am always taking heat from somebody. I don't do anything besides be at home with my daughter, and work, and it still seems that people always have my name in their mouth. I am just so angry about it. I know I shouldn't let it bother me, but it is affecting my friendships and I am just ready to flip out. I use to have one friend that I would confide in and she turned around and blabbed everything that I ever told her to other friends of ours. I mean I would tell her stuff when I was angry, or whatever. Now I won't confide in anyone. I'm just so over people getting into my business and acting like they know me. It's all drama, drama, drama. And I try to avoid it the best that I can, but I guess it is inevitable. Do you ever have problems with people getting into your business? What do you do to solve it?

Sounds as if you are learning. I also used to say things in confidence to friends. I trusted, wrongly so,that my words would not get back to that person. Often times, it was as you said, just a moment of anger or frustration at the person. Of course, it hurts when that person hears it from someone else who more than likely dramatizes it for affect. I learned a long time ago to be extremely selective in whom I vent to....like almost no one. I also do not repeat anything that anyone says to me about anyone else because that also gets the drama going and me involved. When someone vents to me about someone else, I will listen and not add to it and above all don't repeat it. I pretty much tell my friends that it is ok to vent but don't expect me to take sides as I like them all. Even if I agree with one on a certain matter, I'll take that stance. It is safer.
