How to find if a mylot friend is online or not?

I have always wondered why this option is not there in mylot. When i come online i wish i find friends who are online so that i may contact them. But why is this option missing? Do you also feel this as a handicap? How would you find if on of your friends is online or not?

As I get an immediate response to my discussion I always know that the person is online.And it says the time when that response is made too.It is the indication that the person is online.

You can see above your discussion that you have made it 54 minutes ago.And can see over my response that I made it 12 seconds before. These times change as time goes by.

I go to the friend's profile and there it says when he/she last logged on. Then I send a Private Message. I agree though that, like on some sites, a light showing whether they were on or not would be a nice idea.

It is difficult but I suppose it should be there. It will help a lot for us to locate which of our friends are online. It will make the overall atmosphere more lively.

Most of the time, i will keep a lookout on the number of post beside their name, and i will know if they are online.. haha =D Because if they are in mylot, they are bound to be posting and once that happens, their number of post will increase and thus i will know.. hehe ^_^ AN indicator will be good, but i wont be using it much.. What's more, mylot is an international site and it's gonna be difficult for our frenz to be online at the same time too.. hehe
