What do you see when you look back over the past year??

Over the past year, I see that I have changed a little. My attitude is different than it was. My expectations are not the same. My life has changed. Things are not what they used to be. Some of these changes are by choice and some of them just happened. I did not even really notice the changes occurring. I have been sitting here thinking about what life was like a year ago. Boy, is it different now. Take a look back. What do you see? Have you changed? Have things around you changed? Is your life today different than it once was or is it the same?

Sadly, all I can see are the pain and torment that my mother has put me through the whole year because of my girlfriend. This theme dominated my 2008, ultimately leading to my decision to stand up for my own decisions without caving in to the pressure from other people.

Stand by your beliefs. Your past year has led you to make a decision in your life. Hang on to that decision as you go into the new year. I hope your new year brings you joy and peace. Stay Safe, Stand Strong in your Beliefs, Royal Mom

I've been working on being happier, bringing more beauty into my life, being more clear about what I will and won't tolerate and just basically deciding what the heck I want to be doing with myself. I do know that in a year I want it to be much better and I am hopefully moving in that direction.

Having goals is very important to our personal growth. It sounds like you have chosen a direction and are heading towards it with a plan in mind. You will have to come back later and let us know how you are progressing.

When I look back over the past year, I'm pretty proud of myself. I kept a job for most of the year, and I've done good in paying back debt. I guess I also had a pretty good creative year. I wrote several new books, I made new friends, I joined writing groups; I learned that most able-bodied people are not destructive, which is a big deal for me. When I was in college, I knew that, but I forgot.

I am glad you had a good year. Although, you need to those able-bodied people help you when you fall down. Ask them to install the air bags on your wheelchair. Pressurize it so if you tip over, you will bounce back up. LOL After all you have a lot more stuff to do.

When I look back over the last year, I see tremendous change actually! I'm in a new role employment wise, my financial situation has improved dramatically, I'm making plans to return to my home country, my international travel schedule has decreased considerably..... And the best thing of all is that my marriage is wonderful as always; and I know things are going to get even better still!

Hang on tightly to "HOPE" for without hope all is lost. Make a list of things you would like to do this year. Post that list where you see it each morning. Allow the things on that list to become your goals. Then work towards your personal goals. You can even title your list as "My Hope List". Then at the end of this year, come back and let us all know how you did. Stay Safe, Stand Strong Royal Mom

I saw lots of doors of windows being closed. Our project have to end abruptly and much earlier than expected so it destroys lots of plans and even financial schedules. It's a year where I submitted almost 50 resumes and the most I got is just the final interview but no job at all. I can call it as a crazy year for that's when I started to learn of making money online, crazily joined any site referred by anyone and ended up scammed and poorer. It is really a year of closed opportunities and I hope that this year, a door or even just a window will open up for me.

I definitely changed. I grew A LOT and a lot of "what was I thinking" going on in my head now. It is totally different from last year... I would have never imagined the year to end up like this.. but I'm glad.
