Do you use/participate if it's still "BETA"?

I used to always download the BETA testing of software, figuring it probably works just like it should, but maybe has a couple bugs that shouldn't be too major. Recently, the one place I am placing ads for some extra money has come out with another site they want to use for their ads. It's been in BETA testing for a couple weeks now, and the first day I saw it I figured I'd give it a try and see how it worked. Apparently, they didn't have any of the kinks worked out because it really didn't work at all. After a few days, they took it down and there were no ads to post in the new site. Then the other day, it showed up again with some ads to post. I figured they got the kinks worked out and it would work better. Well, I was able to post the ads that they needed, although it wasn't very easy to figure out how to get all the information they needed. Since it's still in BETA testing, they don't have the instructions posted and you're pretty much winging it. But it's not too difficult to get the hang of and I was posting quite a few the other night. Normally, you are paid $.15 (fifteen cents) per ad that posts, but in the BETA testing you are only pai $.01. Also, you normally cap out at 20 ads per day as your limit, but I was way over that in the BETA module last night. It hardly seems worth it though to go through the hassle of posting the ad for the BETA testing, except I feel that once they have posted enough ads and see that people are able to get them done effeciently then they will increase them to the normal rate. Would you mess with the BETA version or would you wait until it seems like it's more worth your time? If no one were to test the BETA version at the very low price then we'd never know if it worked, so I think it's worth it in the long run.

I will work with or join sites which are beta. The word beta doesn't scare me off but if I like it, I will stay, if I don't I will leave. I just hope to join some honest sites, there are just too many dishonest sites online which is frustrating.

I think I'm alot like that too. I'll usually give it a try but if I don't like it I'll leave it alone.

Yes! Although i'm not expecting too much on beta running sites coz they are beta. I push my luck on them. I want to see if they are worthy site. As long as the jobs to do are not so difficult and can do it in least possible time, i will give it a try.

You are so right. If you're not spending too much time with it and it doesn't work out then you are not too bad off. If it was difficult or time consuming I wouldn't do it either until they got it up and running correctly.
