I stopped using a VCR about five years ago. I don't even have one any more. I had a huge VHS collection, which I got rid of. Now everything is on DVD for me.

Sure I do. I've got a video collection going back to the early 80s, and I still tape programmes off the telly sometimes. Plus the fact that I still sometimes buy films on VHS (you can get them really cheap from charity shops these days). I suppose there will come a time when my video recorder breaks down and I can't replace it, but until then I might as well keep using it.

I've got a TV/VCR combo that I use to record certain shows when I'm not home. I don't have any of this fancy new technology like Tivo, DVRs and such.

We still have a vcr but don't use it much since we watch movies on DVD now. We keep it around because my husband has some older movies that he likes to watch from time to time and there's also the collection of tapes from the camcorder he had when he kids were growing up.

We no longer use VCR's! Hahaha and I think we've already lost our old video tapes. Some of the personally made ones, I think, were transformed into dvds by my dad but I'm not sure about that. Thanks for the comment on my discussion! Happy New Year!
