I just want to remind everyone not to drink and drive tonight! If you're going out to a party make sure you have a designated driver!
Have you ever driven drunk? Do you know a victim of a drunk driving accident?
I do not drive after I've been drinking. I've heard too many horror stories, and I don't want to be pulled over and lose my license or go to jail. We will both be drinking tonight, but we'll be staying home and not going anywhere.

Good job, katsmeow, I agree. Our town is terrible for this because it's so cold and we literally only have two cabs. The police only stick to the main streets and never seem to venture into the residential areas so people can cruise around plastered all night if they want to with little fear of getting caught. I think we're going to stay in tonight because I know that no one is going to want to be DD and we'll have no way of getting around with no cabs. Plus, it's really just o darn cold to go out!

Thanks for the public service message! I won't drink and drive either. We aren't going out tonight. We want to go see Ralphie May on Friday night so we are saving our money for that. I don't directly know anyone who was a victim of a drunk driving accident. When we were kids I remember my friend telling me that her cousin was killed by a drunk driver. I couldn't stand the thought of hurting someone like that.

My husband was hit by a drunk driver a year ago... it actually happened in the middle of the afternoon on New Years Day! Imagine that... and the guy was like 70 years old. Luckily nobody was hurt.

I'm in for the night, small kids, But i have drove drunk once when i was very young and stupid. I think i wanted to die. I know my friend sure was feeling very scared. He may have pee'd himself. . Anyways. i made it back in one peice and so did he. . I wont do it again i promise. not only do i not want to harm other people, i dont want to harm myself.
