New Years eve and New Years Day

I sadly have to work a few hours later but should be home by eight and will stay in,it's very windy and cold here and I hate the thought of going out.We usually make pork and sauerkraut.Plus our grandaughter will be here so probably will play a little bit of games with her and on the computer.Happy New Year!

hmm just finished watching the new year's party and fireworks on tv anyway... I just staying at home, having dinner, a shabu2 steamboat kind dinner with husband lol....

It was supposed to go the Northampton ball drop tonight, but the weather was so bad that they canceled the disability van service. It's cold and windy here, too, and the weather is supposed to get bad again. Not so much of a good going out night. I'll be at home watching the ball drop on TV and maybe ordering a pay per view as a treat.

We are planning on staying home and watching the ball drop on TV.

I'll be doing the same things that I usually do. Today, I wrote a blog post and caught up on some of the bloggers that I read regularly. I'll probably do some more writing later, if I can pull myself away from the internet. I'll go to bed around 12, just as I usually do, but I know I'll be listening to fireworks instead of going to sleep. I hope all those people setting off fireworks enjoy themselves, because it's very cold and windy here and the temp will be even lower tonight.

Yes it is very cold no fishing today. I will go back to my house and clean stuff out so I can make my house rent ready.

It was freezing cold where I am, about 20 degrees with wind, so I was happy to just stay in. A friend of my from down the street came over and we just have something to eat and drink and watched some TV (CNN in fact, an odd choice for New Year's Eve, but they paired up comedian Kathy Griffin with Anderson Cooper and it was pretty funny).

I think this year I will stay home. It is cold here, but it will get colder tonight. I have a couple movies to watch (Sydney White I rented through Netflix and The Italian Job was loaned to me by my sister), so I will have something to occupy my time. lol And I think for the first time in ages, I might actually watch the Rose parade on TV new year's day.

We are staying in and my parents and one of our friends are coming over because they only live around the corner from us. I think it should be a nice evening as we'll probably play on the Wii and have a few drinks. x

I went to shrine as usual. Only first 108 people were allowed to ring the bell, it's a Japanese tradition. But to be honest, it was kinda boring this year :)
