Would it be better for ash's pkachu to evolve?

I think pikachu would become stronger obviously..but the problem is that it woudnt be the same.What do you think?

Yes it would be better for ash's pikachu to evolve
.but it all depends on the story writes.Then raichu cannot sit on ashs back.also the best moves like speed attack and volt tackle won't be there.There will be new moves that raichu will know.Surprise.
