Another year has started anew. Most of us would always try do take note of our new year's resolution. One of my resolution is to sleep and wake up early. Reachable and realistic enough for me. I hate it when I make impossible goals. It frustrates me most of the time. Do you set goals for the year? Are they realistic enough?

Hi hibiscus_mel, I am one of those person that who doesnt like to have new year resolution for usually i dont make it. I just go with the flow, and live my life one day at the time. But since we are facing a great challenge for this year 2009 for this global economic financial crisis. I would like to some this time. I wanted to be rich not in financial matter but in some other ways. I wanted to follow what i have read in the book before. I made a discussion about it. Have a look and comment if you like. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1854711.aspx?p=1#2_18675288

Hello Margarit. Your panda look was a funny story my dear. It is good that you are beginning to look at the bright side of life even the circumstances were not irritating for the new year. Yes, as the crisis soar it would be wise to find ways and means in our own little way to meeting the challenge gracefully. Nothing is impossible if we will do our best.

i don't normally give myself a new years resolution, but this year i did and it's a pretty realistic one my goal is pretty much to save more money and have a certain amount (that is definitely attainable) saved to move out with my boyfriend. we've been talking about it for the past year so hopefully this year will be a good one

My resolution is to start adding more exercise into my week. My husband is into exercising so I have a partner already. I tend to get bored or lazy so I want to change that and actually get up and do something. I have been depending on my fast metabolism for years, one day it might give out!

Yes, sometimes we get lazy and tired when it comes to exercising. My husband also has started and keeping up well with his exercise routine. I have not kept up with what he has been doing. Oh well, only when I feel like it. I am just glad that he always invites me to be with him everytime he goes out to exercise. Hope you can keep up with your resolution. Good luck.;-)

I don't set goals for myself once a new year has started because I don't see the point. If I want to set new goals for myself or change a habit, I will do it anytime I want, not because a new year has started. Time is irrelevant to me and doesn't change anything. Taking about your change, I think it is realistic and I wish you success. I go to bed at all different times, sometimes as late as 7am! I finish college next month and need to get a job so that will be when I change my sleeping pattern.

It has always been good way to make a new year's resolution. It is some sort of keeping up the pace of time for me. I value time and it is always relevant to what I do. Thank you for noting that my resolution is a realistic one. I always make sure it is because I have been into resolution that have been so frustrating on my part because it won't come true.
