or you dont? and still have it on until youve gone to bed? in denmark, people would have their shoes on when they go inside their houses and never took them off until theyve gone to bed. You can seldom see a family walking inside the house with his barefoot. how about you?

oh hi.. youre a danish? well, i have seen a lot of families who dont take off their shoes while they are inside the house. Actually, if you live in the basement, you can always hear those "tok, tok, tok", from upstairs because they still have their shoes on. And its kind of irritating because it creates a loud noise which seems like theyre hammering or something upstairs.

Yes I thought it is a tradition of Chinese background. Since young I was taught not to wear shoes into the house. My father would scold for doing so. We always have to leave the shoes even before stepping the stairs where bring us into the house. I think it is different in western family?

That's interesting that people in Denmark wear there shoes all day. I think personally that wearing shoes all day makes us more productive, even when we are indoors. I personally though hate wearing shoes indoors. I will go barefoot in the summer and wear my slippers in the wintertime. I feel like I'd get more done though if I had my shoes on.

Do you know what? I never take my shoes off before entering my house and it's terrible because I should do. My husband is in the army so for him to take his boots off before he gets in, he would have to spend about ten minutes outside unlacing them ha ha! I don't mind though to be honest, I just vacuum my carpets more regularly and that burns calories so it all works out in the end ha ha!
