Shampoos, soaps, hair gels, tooth pastes, dish cleaner gels, washing powders, tonal cremes: they makes us and our lives cleaner and more comfortable, but DO WE REALLY NEED THEM ALL? I mean, there are chemicals that we don`t need so much and can live without. A hair gel, hair shampoo, hair conditioner creme, hair...whatever-looks-and-smells-nice-and-you-want-to-BUY. But we can live without them. Which chemical thingies are those that You can live without? PS. think about pollution of water...

I can live without shampoo. I'm just using bath soap on my hair and sometimes i shaved my head so there's really nothing to shampoo on my head. I don't need hair gel too. It's too sticky and kind messy. Lotion, hmmm.. maybe my bathsoap will do so i can ditch the lotion. Laundry softener, i don't think i need this.

You are right, in olden days people were happy with what God has given to them, but now a days people are not quite happy with what god has given to them and they depend upon such chemicals which could only harm them in long run. They are not even bothered about the what consequence they ll have to face. They are cutting the branch in which they are sitting and the result of such a deed will be a great downfall. But can you just think about the real root cause of all this mess that we humans have made????

I can think only of `cutting the bench on which we are sitting on`. In long run: probably one third of Earth population will suffer from CANCER: chemicals that we collect inside our bodies is just a result of all those genetically modified foods that we eat and shampoos that we use, and limonades that we drink! So horrible, no?

I can live without hair gels because my hair is easy to handle. I don't like having a complicated hairstyle which I need to deal with it by hair gel. So this kind of thing is totally useless for me:) I love China

All these have become a part of our lives, there are natural alternatives also for these ,but most people think they are out of fashion and not comfortable.....but they have made our lives easy ,we have to say ...imagine brushing with a neem stick without any toothpaste.without washing powders what can we do ..?

This is very true. You walk into any major department store or Walmart, etc. and you find 10 billion kinds of shampoos, carpet cleaners, mouth rinses, etc.

I agree I need tooth paste and soap, for clothes or body wash. This is really important. Especially living in a big city. Tell me if you can use an alternative tooth paste that works well so I will remove tooth paste in my list. ΓΌ
