I am approaching the middle of my life and I am nowhere near where I wanted to be. I suppose things do even out since I have had a few nice suprises along the way....some things that I was able to do that weren't even apart of "the plan". So does anyone have a life that is going according to their plan?

When I was growing up I always wanted to be an author...well I got married young..and then had three kids and a divorce...so most of my life I have spent working two jobs. Not the life I pictured. Then the kids grew up and started moving away...and I finally had time to do what I wanted to do. I am now the author of three books...travel alot....and basically do whatever I want to do...so the best part of your life might be just around the corner!

Tat is so awesome! Yeah, I realize I am probably too young to lament about what-might-have-been since it still could be. Thanks.

I don't think there is a single person on the face of the earth that can say their life has gone according to their plan. Mine sure hasn't. I had planned to have a record contract when I was 13, my own record label at 20, and I planned to be releasing my 6th album, but that didn't happen. I'm 20 years old and I haven't even recorded a demo. Don't feel bad about it. You might not have a big house or a fancy car, but there's still a lot for you to be happy about. You should never feel as if you wasted time because your life didn't go the way you planned. Hope this helped.
